I can only assume she's so self centerd that she believes that criticism of her homosexual life stye is a crime as horrrendous as the murder of 3000 people.

I think you're exactly right. Some people live so far out of the norm, the worst thing that can happen to them is someone might call them names.

I imagine she'd feel differently about the matter if someone cut off her kid's head in the name of Allah.

BTW - as I mentioned on here once before - I heard the tape of Nick Berg's decapitation. His head was NOT "lopped" off - it was *SAWED* off. Slowly hacked off, while he screamed horribly. I can't forget that sound for as long as I live.

And the Muslims prayed, in the background.

Crusades

I don't like Rosie but historically Christians have been blood thirsty. :ohwell:

The Crusades started around 1095..... I didnt realize america was a part of that....

Christians of today are not the same as the medievil ones. However, Muslims are still just as barbaric now as they were back then.

This war is between religious terrorists and a democratic nation. We did not start this war in the name of god, they did......

Hell for all argument sake, our foriegn policy since the 70's is to blame.

Stop that. It's boring.

Christians in one country may be fighting each other, but they are not fighting the whole world and flying planes into buildings to mass-murder. They aren't running over to Israel and Saudi Arabia to kill the non-believers.

As far as the Crusades go, modern Muslims are doing right now what Christians were doing in the Middle Ages. It's been 700 years - let it go.

You can bet if it was being fought here every one of those whiners would be in line to get a gun and protect their own property and families.

Rant over.

I agree to all but this point.. They wouldn't be running for guns OR trying to protect anything. They'd be talking to the invaders trying to appease them so they can keep what they have. They would be negotiating with them, not for the country and not for our lifestayle, but so they can keep their money and their houses as the invaders try to kill as many other Americans as possible.

This type doesn't care who's rule they fall under, as long as they still get to be rich.

O'Donnell was saying there is no difference between the radical Muslims who kill in the name of Allah and Bible-believing Christians who follow the teachings of Jesus.

...nothing speaks for a persons beliefs and values any more than their own words.

Every time our left tries to come out with this horse#### excuse that they support our military might and the right to fight back against people like Saddam and Usama and Hitler and Tojo and any other enemy of the US, one of them comes clean.

Pat Robertson = Usama Bin Laden

1 = 2

Orange = Apple

Up = Down

War = Peace

Non leftist viewpoint = mass murder

Moral objection = decapitation

That is about as textbook and simple as it gets in defining the fact that modern liberalism is intellectually absurd and morally bankrupt.

If Usama Bin Laden or Saddam Hussein were in George Bush's shoes there'd be no Rosie O'Donnell. It is both maddening and terrifying that our left don't, or refuse to, understand this.

After they saw a couple Beverly Hills neighbors get poopped and the possessions looted I don't think they'd talk anymore. But you may be right they wouldn't fight. They'd transfer their money to some foreign account and run.

Careful there, dear. You'll start a war!

Protestants v. Catholics.

Different faiths throughout history have used faith as an excuse for war. Are American Christians currently engaged in a "holy war"? No. Are extremist Muslims currently engaged in a "holy war"? So they say. All American forces (which is made of people of many faiths as well as those that follow no beliefs) are doing is responding to the threat made by those extremist Muslims.

Rosie is dead wrong.

Christians, and even more specifically American Christians, did not call for this war and are not running this war. There are American Christians (of varied disciplines) engaged in this war - but it is not holy to them, it is not a faith driven war.

This is a proactive defense of America and its citizens with the goal that they can live each day without the threat of a terrorist attack looming. And its being fought on foreign soil to keep the danger out of our backyards.

You can bet if it was being fought here every one of those whiners would be in line to get a gun and protect their own property and families.

Couldn't agree more! I'm not Pro ANY war, But I'm the FIRST to Support our troops no matter where they are sent. My husband is Retired Army. Did his time in Desert Storm. So I understand, even if i don't totally agree with how and why we are over there. But that's between me and the politicians. The troops get my total support.

"Religion" is the cause of more than 50% of all wars ever had on this earth. And if you look back far enough, it's because the "true" believers needed the land, water, etc., of the non-belivers. That people haven't outgrown these ancient texts, and are still "reading" them the same wasy seems to me to be the problem. But then they still want all the land...

I don't think the different "Gods" meant for such things to be taken literally for ever, if at all. They need new translations! With the current world in mind.

Besides that was political, the English Orange vs the Irish Green. not as religious as you make it out to be.

Hi all, I'm new here but I felt I needed to jump into this one. This is the same woman who attacked Tom Selleck on his NRA membership. The same woman that has body guards protecting her adopted children 24/7. Do you think they carry feather-dusters and tickle to death anyone who comes near her kids? Um, I think not. Come on people, she is a hypocrite of the worst kind – a clueless, loud-mouthed, liberal-elitist-snob! Okay, I’m an American and agree everyone is entitled to their opinion. That does not give you the right to abuse your position to blast your so-called opinion all over the world – especially when we have soldiers in harm’s way fighting against those very same radicals she mentions. Does anyone remember Hanoi Jane? Need I say more?

Except the Orange and Green you speak of are religous based, not political like Rep, or Dem.. The colors represent the Protestant's and the Catholics..

As it is, she has an audience, a market who will pay for her product.

I WANT THEM TO ADMIT THIS, PUBLICLY.
