How often to you talk to your parents?

I talk to my mom at least once or twice a day...I talk to my dad every couple of days..and I call my grandma every couple of days. I mostly talk to my brother on the weekends.

I make it a habit to touch base with my parents at least once or twice a week. My mom emails me as well. She hardly ever hears from my other siblings who all live about 1 hour from her. Me - the one that is 6-8 hours she hears from all the time. Maybe because I am so far away and they are getting up there in age I call more often. Just to check on them. Also, because of distance and their age I usually only see them 2-3 times a year.

I remember when I first moved out and I wanted to move as far as possible from the family. As I get older I miss them more and wish I was closer.

Just talked to his doctor. Bleeding has stopped..now they have to do some things to figure out the source. All in all, he's okay. I'm going back to the hospital at noon...no way I can make the 8:30 - 9:30 visiting window.

Got an e-mail from my daughter today

She said they'd been busting up the ice on a pond into chunks and then running across the pond on the busted ice.

I talk to my mom a few times a month and see her a few times a month. More since B and I set a date...she calls at 7:00 am at least once a week about wedding stuff. I talk to Dad usually once a week or maybe every two weeks. I talk to my stepmom when she answers the phone, that's when we end up chatting and I forget why I called my dad.
