Same here. I have a feeder that is hanging on the window and another one a couple of feet away. I've counted eight at one time today, but could be more. They move so fast, it's hard to tell.itsbob said:I looks like Chicago's O'Hara airport around here, they are EVERYWHERE!!

We don't have a feeder out this year, the old one broke. However, we did have a hungry hummer in the yard last week. It was visiting the rose bushes, and then hanging out by the oak beside the driveway for about 20 minutes. Gotta get a new feeder before next year.cattitude said:Only 8?
I usually have 5 feeders going and fill twice a day. I have some break and haven't replaced them this year. I have probably 20 or so around one feeder and even more around the others. They feed more in the rain.

I just have the two here at work and two at home. They are right outside the front door at work so there is a lot of foot traffic coming in and out. That may disturb them a bit. I fill one feeder here every day. They will only drink out of the other feeder if their favorite is empty. Do you know why they feed more in the rain?cattitude said:Only 8?

They land here on the wire that runs to my XM Radio antenna. Mostly the male sits and chases the others away, or tries to. Yesterday, the female approached the male that was sitting on the wire and touched his beak with hers. I hadn't ever seen that before. She had not been drinking from the feeder, so I don't think she was feeding him. He chased her off after that.remaxrealtor said:Wow! I'm so jealous! Just checked my feeder and no dice! cattitude said:How long have you had your feeders up? More and more come back every year. They return to the same feeders each year. Many years ago, I was excited when a few showed up, now about 15 summers later, I am swamped. I go through sugar at an alarming rate. Almost 10 pounds a week.
