If there was a foot chase, he probably made it about 12 steps before giving up. The cops should withhold food until he squeals on Cambo. That should take all of about 15 minutes or so.

:yay:

People suck.

So, when does backing up your computer prove to be worthless? When the dirtbags that break into your house steal not only your laptops but your backup drives as well.

1st dirtbag checks to see if there is anyone home. Alerts the 2nd dirtbag dressed in camo who breaks in and takes only easily carried and pawnable items and drugs.

If you see the blue car, believed to be a Jetta, and the fat slob in it, the police would love to hear from you. Folks in Town Creek take heed.

Sorry to hear what happened to you - I hope the SOB's get caught.

One thing, though - a back up's no good if it's kept near the computer (as you now know). Fire, flood, tornado, theft - the reasons you back up should be the reason you keep your backup elsewhere.

And the saga continues.....

Court trials for this dirtbag have been postponed twice before, once because he got himself locked up in Calvert County... :loser:

Anyway, sat there in court all morning waiting for him to make a guilty plea deal. At the very last second, the sitting judge announces he knows the family. The perp's grandfather is another circuit court judge. dammit. At least the judge saw the conflict of interest and ethics. Problem is..... there isn't one circuit judge who DOESN'T know this family!!!! Judge finally got an out-of-county judge to hear the plea in October.

He only got minor property from me, but so far the tally is up to 7 guns stolen from other folks. His grandfather must be SO proud.

That makes me so mad!!! You have to miss time from work to accommodate the thief. Sorry, you get one postponement and that's it. Why should the innocent have to be penalized for the dumb a$$ criminal.

Fortunately, I'm retired, so it's just frikkin annoying. I want to see this guy get sentenced.

I only know the name of the guy in court yesterday, and I'll hold his name right now out of respect to the family. Some jewelry was recovered, nothing of mine.

That's a federal crime, so Fatty is going to be away for awhile. Unless, of course, his graddaddy pulls some strings. In which case, you'll be seeing his name in the papers again, and again, and again.

And why withhold his name? It's a matter of public record and will be published in the blotter and news articles.

Like I said, out of respect for the family name. If someone wants to research it and search court cases, fine. Have at it. But if I confirm the name, people can use the court case to link back to my physical home address. I'm not going to make it easy for them.

Dirtbag pleaded guilty to 4 counts of 1st degree burglary. Each count could net him 20 years, but he opted for a plea deal so all four counts will run concurrently. Sentencing is 14-Dec. He was currently on probation for another burglary conviction in Calvert County.

Icing on the cake: apparently part of the plea deal was that he would remain out of jail on bail. Judge never got that word, so despite the lawyer protests, his bail was revoked and off to jail he went. :yahoo: BuhBye!
