Dirtbag pleaded guilty to 4 counts of 1st degree burglary. Each count could net him 20 years, but he opted for a plea deal so all four counts will run concurrently. Sentencing is 14-Dec. He was currently on probation for another burglary conviction in Calvert County. Icing on the cake: apparently part of the plea deal was that he would remain out of jail on bail. Judge never got that word, so despite the lawyer protests, his bail was revoked and off to jail he went. :yahoo: BuhBye!

:yay:

I was thinking about this yesterday when I passed by your house.

I hope Bubba is into rough stuff and likes his salad tossed. Teach that dirtbag not to steal other people's stuff.

So how do we get this out of town judge to hear more cases? Tired of our finest only doling out slaps on the wrist.

very good... it gets tiresome having somebody out on an offense and they go back out and commit the same fricken crime again. The only answer is jail, IMO.

Well, lets wait and see how much time he actually gets. According to the prosecutor this judge is pretty lenient.

A little update. Just got a letter from the Corrections office in L'town. Apparently this perp is out and now on parole and probation until 10/2022. So he was incarcerated for, it appears, 3 years. I would have thought the gun theft/possession charges would have kept him there longer. Anyway, he's been ordered to pay restitution, I'm supposed to get about $1100 payable in increments as small as $1. omg.... I'll never see this money..... :lmao:

Our "justice" system needs to be burnt down and started over. Wonder how many crimes he's committed since they released him?

A little update: got a letter yesterday from the St. Marys' State's Attorney office. Dirtbag violated probation and I've been invited to the hearing on 19-Oct. Just can't stay out of trouble. You'd think his grandpa, the retired county judge, would have taught him better.

I said previously that I'd never see any of the money owed me. Happy to say I've been getting checks. So far:
$1.25
$2.63
$3.88
$1.31
$1.86
5 checks, $10.93. Wonder how much it costs to collect and distribute those checks?

Our cams are on the way. There was some shady stuff going on in my neck of the woods the other night and if it wasn't for an alert and pissed off dog, who knows what would have happened.

Maybe it's time to going shopping for an addition to the family.

Not our place, just near by.

I've installed cameras and motion sensing lights all around the outside.
Even though the neighborhood is pretty quiet and unbothered, once in a while folks report break-ins of cars.
Haven't heard of any house burglaries, assaults or such.

That's BS.

The perp should be forced to pay the restituion immediately, even if it means selling a kidney or two.
