Drew Peterson is guilty. I don't care what your ass says.
He'll be arrested, charged and convicted some day and when that happens, you will say you are sorry.
I know about the justice system. And read up, I believe in the premise of innocent until proven guilty. But I also know how these cases are put together, and I know that they just don't lock someone up on a sex crime without overwhelming evidence.
That, Kaine, is why there are so many convictions on sex crimes in this area.

Oh please girlfriend, what terrifies me is your postings half the time not making a lick of sense. Anyone who has studied lies and deceitful behavior knows that Peterson is not an innocent man 'cept you. You and I have been around the block on this and I hold my position based on what I know. I know them too. This was a big shock to us as well although it is not a rape case. Sometimes I think the whole world is just one big mass of confusion and nothing is as it seems to be.

All I know is that I trusted a friend and old neighbor with my children' lives. A licensed daycare provider, a retired military husband for a husband an paid close to $ 200.00 a week for me to know wonder how to approach the subject of possible inappropriate behavior to an 8 & 9 year old. Is anyone suggesting I just sweep it all under the rug, call her on the phone and give lots of hugs and warm smiles?

Nope. I suggest if you feel that some additional things have happened, especially to someone you care about call (301) 475-4200x1950 and tell them you want to report it. The best thing, the thing that helps a victim of this crime is to be able to take back some control. That's accomplished by reporting it.
Thank you. I have spoken to my oldest child almost eighteen about this. I am really at a loss about how to talk about this with an 8 & 9 year old. It has been close to two years since they went to daycare there. He has sub'd at there school many times and I and my ex MIL have taken them for visits.
As critical as people here and IRL can be I have always tried to create a balance in life for my younger ones. Having learned from past experience a child's identity is formed from those people around them that they trust.
