Personally, I'd forget the health insurance unless one of the kids has a medical condition (and asthma isn't that big of a deal, unless they're constantly keeling over). Pay-as-you-go is a lot cheaper than insurance.

HAVE YOU EVER PAID FULL PRICE FOR INHAILERS??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
I DON'T THINK YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT.
I pay full price for inhalers, not sure about inhailers?

a friend on mine has asthma and he pays a lot for 2 prescriptions. every once in a while he goes into the hospital to get hooked up to oxygen with a mist that he has to breath in. asthma ins NOT cheap for him.

I pay for mine also, one is cheap the other is expensive, plus I have a breathing machine. No the insurance isn't cheap, hard to find good coverage for an pre-existing condition.

is that one portable? he has one that he carries with him everywhere. makes me nervous if he's wearing it when we go somewhere, i think he's 70 and about to drop behind the wheel. I don't tell him because he's a good friend and might give him a complex about it.

yes it is. what do you have? is like a big inhaler
It's a nebulizer, I hook up the tubing to the machine and put medicine in the holder and turn it on, and the medicine comes out.

That must be the stuff they gave my friend in the hospital. Does it look like smoke or mist in the oxygen mask?

They call me ... Sarcasmo
Asmanex :yay: GOOD STUFF! It costs $100-$110 @ Target pharmacy for a 30 supply, but my insurance picks it up. I'm not sure about Albuterol inhaler full price but I did read an article in the Sun a few weeks ago that stated they are phasing out Albuterol inhalers because the propellant contains CFC's. Some of the "less ethical" medical supply companies are hoarding existing supplies and waiting for the impending shortage to jack up prices. (nice) :sarcasm:
