For your consideration ...

That's the snag. Many strong willed, and capable, individuals simply do not require police interventions, they just mind their own business, or take care of business themselves, as was the culture in the past. Policing has morphed and developed mission creep over the years to interlope into every aspect of daily living. Somewhere along the timeline, people gave up their inherent personal freedoms to become reliant on someone else to take care of them. Many times growing up, when some folks got into a fight, even with a crowd watching, say, maybe in a bar, no police were called, unless there was a death. Maybe, in extreme cases, an ambulance was called if someone fell face first into the bar, or was driven to a hospital by friends. We've become a Nation of wimpy, run to, call, the police every time, cowards over the smallest of things. People just took care of business, and the bumps and bruises of life, themselves, either after having a hard lesson learned, or being the teacher.

It is those strong willed, and capable, individuals that recognize the trampling of freedoms and interloping by police, the system, that sometimes let those in the system, know their frustrations.
Doubtful the kid was frustrated, severe case of asssholeism.

I’ve been hooked on this YouTube channel for the last 2 weeks. I’ve realized how many bad cops are really out there and how many citizens know their rights and and stand up to these bad cops. I’m taking notes.

This kid has a good lawsuit if he chooses.

What happened to backing the blue? Man you people are schizophrenic.

Didn't you just defend Derick Chauvin for kneeling on someones neck for 8 minutes?

You had me up to here.
I understand. Once the cost of this kind of BS is too much it will stop. Not before then.

I have nothing personal against any of their families, but they should not get to live off a bad cop's pension or other benefits. It doesn't matter if the LEO "earned" it or not. Again, make it cost-prohibitive and this stuff ends.

Shall we strip your..."partner" of any IRAs, 401ks, pensions, and any other bogus investments you claim to have, simply because you're a dick...did you NOT still earn & invest in your gains?

What cops do - is dangerous. They can pull someone over for a broken tail light, or stop to assist someone broken down -
And wind up face down in a ditch by the shoulder. And they face that every day.

Like Jim Malone says in "The Untouchables" - The First Rule of Law Enforcement:

"Make Sure When Your Shift Is Over You Go Home Alive.”

Now, how many of the rest of us have a job where that can always happen? Heck, it can happen to you when you're not even on duty.

So yeah, I support cops. GOOD ones.

Bad ones are like the jerks I saw in this SAME area of Jersey, where they're accountable to no one, and throw kids going to prom up against the car, because they went to their car to get their wallet. Where they bring you in and smack you around in the bathroom (because, hey, no cameras).
Where they treat you like a freaking punching bag while they're cuffing you.

THOSE kind of cops destroy faith in our system - and those kind of cops totally deserve being put straight into gen pop.

Just like the military, or judges, or any other group, you support the good ones and condemn the bad ones. One of the real issues is that law enforcement has a huge problem with correcting their own. Standing by passively or even actively covering up misdeeds, from the partner standing by and maybe shaking his head to the DA or Mayor who helps ensure video footage gets hidden away. That's why we have a real problem when there are truly very few bad cops. Because good cops and self serving systems allow those few to get away with so much before being reigned in.

Here's the real bitch about it. By doing so, they feed the fire of those who will never respect ANY officer ever. Giving the enemy ammunition is treason. And officers and departments and cities and counties who cover for bad cops are doing just that, giving the enemy ammunition to use for stupid crap like cashless bail and slap on the wrist justice.
