Go to Wal Mart, but a few tubes of their playground sand, put it in your trunk, put some extra weight on your rear wheels. Then keep my number handy so I can recover you when you get stuck!!

You can't tell me you aren't a sucker for a cute kid.. probably filled his pockets up while he was there, telling him the whole time not to tell his mommy where he got it.

I am so very blessed

Of course I did. And later on he bopped me in the head with one of those stress-reliever balls.

I tell ya, I'm in love with that little kid. Pix has done a great job with that child. :yay:

I've got a couple of milk crates with lead weights in them if you want to borrow them for traction weight. I bought 200 or so lbs. of lead from a recycler when I had my truck, and I melted it all down and cast a bunch of lead "muffins" (used muffin tins for the molds) to make it easier to store and secure in the back of the truck.

I'd be willing to bet the trunk is already loaded with junk.
I got 3 bags of leveling(?) sand yesterday at Lowe's, about $2.80 a bag.

But wait, there's more...
:howdy: I just saw candidate number two, only this one was successful in screwing up her car! On Baptist Church Road (which by the way still is iced in parts) must've been going too fast, hit a tree and spun around. It was a good enough whack to have the airbag deploy. Happened just a couple minutes before I got there.

Pixie's boy, FD's boy and my nephew are by far the cutest dang little boys I've ever seen! All three of 'em have those eyes that are gonna make them heartbreakers when they get older.

Thanks for the help guys. We've already decided to get rid of the car for something more practical. I think it may happen this week.

Put down your crack pipe, oh stoned one!

:yeahthat: I wouldn't drive a minivan if you paid me. Well, ok, maybe if you paid me but it'd have to be a lot. I'll be the next little broad in an Expedition talking on the cell phone.

I saw just the opposite coming across the Solomons Bridge, lady coming at me in an Explorer. Death grip on the wheel, eyes as big as plates, doing all of 5 mph, traffic backed up behind her to the other end of the bridge. MIGHT have been understandable if there was snow or ice on the bridge, but her lane was dry, and clean to the asphalt.
Then I had to follow a two wheel drive itty bitty pick-up doing about 10 - 15 the whole way to the lights..
Yeah the 10 mile an hour of the bridge was a bit much this morning. By the time I got to the top of the bridge I had to come to a complete stop. I am telling myself that the idiots in front of me should be a bit more concerned with the high winds rocking all of our vehicles then the lack of any precipation on the road.:frown:

I came across the bridge last night about 8:15. Just wet and folks were doing 30.

The wind bothers me. AM terrified of heights as it is, not near as bad as I used to be. Ten years ago I would have never been able to drive across the bridge, now I can, but do NOT like to stop, or go REAL slow with the wind blowing!

Just try a sporty Front Wheel Drive car.. you'd do fine. Isn't the Mercedes SLK front wheel drive? I think you in an Expedition would be funny!(not in a bad way, just cute kinda funny)

I was thinking Altima but after a lot of thinking I realized we borrow my mom's Envoy when we go just about anywhere so an SUV is probably more practical. Plus we can fit the dog in too. With an Expedition with the 3rd row seat we'll be able to seperate the boys when they get older.
