They call me ... Sarcasmo
I know how ya' feel. You care and want to care...passionately.

However, there comes a point where you just don't lose time during the work week worrying about the big game.

That is entirely up to the individual.

Redskins football was a time I looked forward to as a kid. I'd sit with my parents and watch them religiously. They would get passionate about it as would I. I love those days and miss them. Now that my dad has passed away I miss it even more.

So, it's sort of tradition for me to love the Redskins. I don't lose sleep over it, but it's particularly annoying to see that money has dominated the game, and Snyder is MOST guilty of this mentality of believing he can just throw money at the team and the results would be a winning team. The sport is no longer about the game; the sport is now the players seeing how much money they can get out of it. I have no problem with the big contracts and such, but it seems to rarely translate into performance. In the Redskins' case we have watched a bunch of wealthy individuals wander aimlessly on the field for over a decade now. It’s really pretty sad.

I'm not sure "quit" is the right word. I'm just shoving them under the rug until Snottie's gone, which will probably never happen. I have no problem not caring if they ever win again. I wont buy their stuff or go to their games. That's my simple little boycott of the team. You know you want to join me. :1bdz:

:diva: You love me, you really, really love me :diva:
