This is the last day I have to take the WW bridge to work. I'm transfering to Uppermarlboro on monday. Instead of spending 3 hrs a day on the road I'll only spend maybe 1 1/2. I'm soooo happy!

I love my 15 minute drive to work with NO stoplights and NO stop signs.

I have a REALLY long and tough commute in the morning(30 seconds to my shop)....and sometimes it's smowing/raining

i'm in forestville and drive from mechanicsville. It is 1 1/2 hours

Then you need to go a different way. There is no reason it should take you that long to get to Forestville from Mechanicsville. Go up 381 to Old Indian Head to 301 @ Cheltenham and you should be able to make it in an hour or less. It never takes me more than 45 minutes (30 is average time, no matter when I leave) to get to the beltway @ Rt. 4 going that way. I'm in Silver Spring and drive from Mechanicsville. It's 1 hour if I leave on time, 1 1/2 if I leave late (any time after 6:00).

But after a few weeks you're gonna start reminiscing about the Good Old Days of crossing the Worthless Widget Bridge every day.

6.2 from the front door to the office parking spot.. and Trapp RD is fun at speed. Including the last two miles at 35 or less (on base, can't play) I can make it in less then 10 minutes... more like 7.
