but men will constantly clamour that they know the only path to heaven.

It's 100% foolery.

That is exactly what Jesus taught. There are some who claim that "all paths lead to heaven; others claim their "religion" is the only way:

Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
(Matthew 7:13-15)

Claiming to know something you also claim to not be able to comprehend.

For me, it is easy to comprehend the mindset of an individual who does not believe that Jesus Is The Way, The Truth and The Life (John 14:6) and that He in fact was/is The Divine Son of God and Saviour of mankind. I once did not understand and disregarded the Divinity of Jesus. Becoming born-again changed all of that - but that is something you can't understand, Xaquin, because you deny the account of who Jesus really is.

no one can understand it because everyones story is different.

also, a few people telling me their interpretations of unprovable events that may have taken place 2,000 years ago are hardly a good basis for -anything- much less a system to base your life on.

Here's what Nucklesack stated:

Nucklesack said:
When you put it in perspective of all the Gods and Deities that are available to believe in, I just believe in one less than a Christian.

He specifically wrote, "one less than a Christian." My question pertained to the fact that some people mistake Christianity as believing in "two Gods" or "three" separate Gods.

That was the premise of my response. For example, the perception of Muslims is that Christians serve two gods, some claim three gods. Orthodox Judaism believes in One God but do not believe that Jesus could have been the manifestation of God in human form.

and constantly claiming that men are wrong when they express their knowledge of Gods plan is different in what way?

I know what he was getting at. You should have too. It was pretty obvious.

Another misunderstanding on your part. The Bible states that is is not possible for the carnal mind of man to comprehend the things of God because they are spiritually discerned. The point is, you need to meet God in the spiritual realm through the mediation of the Holy Spirit - then it becomes possible to be receptive to God's Truth.

oh, I see.

please explain gods plan in full detail.

all of it.

It's very simple:

For God so loved the world that He gave His Only Begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life.
(John 3:16)

That's It!

.... that isn't a plan.

edit: and even if it was (it isn't) it certainly isn't detailed.

I'm so happy that you reminded me that God Loves Me!

"May you grasp how wide and long and high and deep My love for you is; a love that surpasses knowledge... you cannot ask or imagine the things I am planning for you!" Ephesians 3:16-21

Hi Nucklesack,
Actually, many people "think" they know what Christianity believes in but are swayed by second-hand info, misconceptions and/or biased opinions with no real research. I would like to know then what your understanding of Christianiy is, why you discredit it and what you really believe. Would that be too much to ask?
