BREAM: January 6th pardons. President Trump says that there's a process. Where is the line drawn on who will and wouldn't be considered for a pardon?
VANCE: I think it's very simple. Look, if you protested peacefully on January the 6th and you've had Merrick Garland's DOJ treat you like a gang member, you should be pardoned. If you committed violence on that day, obviously, you shouldn't be pardoned, and there's a little bit of a gray area there, but we're very much committed to seeing the equal administration of law, and there are a lot of people, we think, in the wake of January the 6th who were prosecuted unfairly. We need to rectify that.

Many of the larger Trump-supporting accounts on social media are already lashing out at Vance, but it needs to be noted that neither Donald Trump nor JD Vance ever promised a blanket pardon for all those charged over January 6th. Whether that's the right or wrong position will be up to you to decide for yourself, but it doesn't make sense to get angry at someone for not doing something they never promised to do in the first place.

Trump has been very concerned about the allocation of political capital since being elected. That was shown in the recent budget fight where the incoming president was deadset on avoiding a government shutdown even if that meant passing another bloated continuing resolution. He wants a clean deck when he takes office to try to pass his agenda through reconciliation in March, and if he walks in on day one and pardons people who injured police officers, it could undercut everything he's trying to do.

Again, I know many people on the right do not agree with that calculation and want a blanket pardon. I'm simply explaining the political realities at play and why Trump never committed to pardoning every single person involved. I'd also note that while many people are expressing anger at Vance over his comments, he never would have said them if that wasn't the official position of the incoming administration.

We Need Immediate Action to Reverse Joe Biden’s Executive Orders

By David Lanza

On Joe Biden’s first day in office in January 2021, he signed seventeen executive orders. These orders are notorious and remained controversial throughout his term in office. They included such measures as stopping the Keystone Pipeline — an order that was blamed for rising gasoline prices throughout Biden’s term (the real cause of such price increases was the Biden administration’s massive spending sprees, but the pipeline shutdown made the situation worse). Other Biden orders on that first day included renewed environmentalist-extremist measures such as rejoining the “Paris Accords” (wildfires continue unabated despite this order).

Biden also entered orders that allow illegal immigrants to be counted in the census and extended other benefits for illegal immigrants. Biden ordered a halt to border wall construction and certain deportations. He limited immigration enforcement activities by the federal government.
Biden’s day-one orders extended a pause on the collection of student loan debt and extended prior eviction and foreclosure moratoriums. Biden used another order unilaterally to extend the Civil Rights Act of 1964 to LGBT and transgender claimants. Biden even entered one blanket order freezing the implementation of all pending regulations from the Trump administration — regardless of subject matter. These orders were prepared in advance. The Democrats had a thorough plan for opening the border, increasing our dependence on foreign oil, and otherwise advancing the radical left agenda. Biden was apparently unconcerned that these orders would be controversial and would fail to “unite America.”

In August of 2021, Joe Biden signed Executive Order 14037, which promotes the production of electric vehicles and singles out the state of California as a leading authority to be followed by the federal executive branch in promulgating this policy. In December 2021, Biden signed Executive Order 14057, which further promoted the policy of “carbon free” electricity production and emission free vehicles.
Biden’s executive orders have continued. The above list is far from exhaustive. In January, 2025, Biden altered “the order of succession in departments across the executive branch.” The reason for this move is unclear. Few observers believe that Biden is truly responsible for this Order.

On January 5, 2025, the administration announced an executive order that would “permanently” ban oil drilling on 625 million acres of U.S. ocean. CNN assures us that this order will be “difficult” for Trump to reverse. That message is intended to provide ammunition for bureaucrat holdovers in the new administration as well as some members of the Republican party that will undoubtedly begin working against Trump.

Exclusive — Marco Rubio to Shred Globalists in Confirmation Hearing: ‘Liberal World Order’ Not Just a ‘Fantasy,’ But ‘Dangerous Delusion’

Rubio’s remarks, provided exclusively to Breitbart News ahead of their public release, show him viciously criticizing the globalist elites who have dominated the American foreign policy worldview for the last several decades since the end of the Cold War.

“At the end of World War II, the United States was, in the words of then Secretary Acheson, tasked with creating a world order ‘a free half’ out of chaos ‘without blowing the whole to pieces in the process,’” Rubio will say per the prepared opening statement. “In the decades that followed, the global order they created served us well. For Americans, incomes rose and communities flourished. Alliances emerged in the Indo-Pacific and Europe that led to the emergence of stability, democracy, and prosperity in these regions, and prevented a cataclysmic third world war. And ultimately a wall in Berlin came down and with it, an ‘evil empire.’”

But, once the U.S. won the Cold War and the Berlin Wall came down, Rubio will say, a “dangerous delusion” of grandeur settled into the globalist elites’ mindset: They thought they reached “the end of history” and that a “liberal world order” would overtake national identity.

Puerto Rico calls on Trump to respond after Venezuelan President Maduro threatens to invade

Maduro made the threat against Puerto Rico during a speech Sunday in Caracas.

“As in the north they have an agenda of colonization, we have an agenda of liberation,” Maduro said. “That agenda was written for us by Simón Bolívar,” who led six South American countries to independence from Spain.

“The liberty of Puerto Rico is pending, and we will achieve it with Brazilian troops,” he added.

Puerto Ricans have consistently voted against independence as González noted in her letter. She also highlighted a nonbinding referendum from November, in which voters overwhelmingly opted for Puerto Rico to become a state.

"We have voted to strengthen our union with the United States through statehood," González-Colón wrote.

Pete Hegseth’s contentious confirmation hearing was a spectacle that dominated cable news all afternoon yesterday. The New York Times ran the story headlined, “Four Takeaways From Pete Hegseth’s Confirmation Hearing. The article uncontroversially concluded that, “barring new developments, Mr. Hegseth is now on a path to winning confirmation by the full Senate.”

image.png

It was four hours of the Senate at its performative best. Democrats snippily hinted or outright enumerated Mr. Hegseth’s many alleged personal failures, such as a the media rumors of his being a common drunk (denied), a serial rapist (denied), and, in dark hints packaged in lighter words, an outright White Supremacist, also denied. Democrats discussed Pete’s unfortunate marital affair in delicious and salacious detail, and played “gotcha” by asking him to define all sorts of obscure geopolitical acronyms, like “ASEA”, which is Japanese, meaning either ‘a windowless cubicle,’ or else it’s the act of sneezing when someone offers you raw octopus. We aren’t sure yet.

Anyway, friendly Republicans asked Pete softball questions and tossed darts at their progressive fellow Senators, mainly related to their hypocrisy for voting in so many truly awful Biden nominations, which never troubled Democrats in the slightest.

As for Pete, he approached the hearing with humility. “I’m not a perfect person, but redemption is real,” Hegseth advised. Annoying nearly every Democrat, the nominee bravely continued, “I have failed in things in my life, and thankfully I’m redeemed by my Lord and Savior Jesus.”

Senate Democrats tried to make a good show of it but they were lazy. Mainly, they leaned on a worn-out and anachronistic slander. A hundred and seventy years ago, long before Nancy Pelosi installed a wet bar under her Majority Leader’s podium, Democrats mined the “drunkenness” canard to smear Republicans’ very first competent military appointee, Major General Ulysses S. Grant, and here we are again.

It is said that, hearing the many chirping complaints and ceaseless calls to fire his only winning general for drunkenness, a frustrated Lincoln snipped, “then find out which whiskey he drinks and send a barrel to each of my other generals.”

While historians disagree on whether Lincoln actually said that or just thought it a lot, they now mostly agree Democrats invented or wildly exaggerated Grant’s drinking habits. It never made any sense; how could Grant have possibly performed as well as he did if he were constantly plastered? Still, it’s taken historians this long to un-slander President Grant’s name.

Then, as now, the Democrats hated Grant’s masculine habits, in his case his habits of smoking cigars, drinking whiskey, and standing around the neighborhood watching Jimbo Fischer rebuilding his stagecoach’s suspension.

The military’s only job is breaking stuff and killing our enemies. Much of what is wrong with our country was well illustrated in this single image from Hegseth’s confirmation hearing: a shrill Affluent White Female Liberal (AWFL) who hallucinates she’s an Indian shrieking at a competent male candidate, for not being sufficiently feminine, and lacking liberal characteristics that have nothing to do with breaking anything or killing anybody:

image 2.png

CLIP: Crowd laughs at Senator Sacagawea (aka ‘Buffalo Wife’) for dumbest question of the hearing (0:23).

The Senate adjourned the hearing after only four hours. That’s all they could take. Question time is over, and the Senate will almost certainly vote to confirm Hegseth on Monday afternoon following Trump’s Inauguration. In other words, it was always a done deal, from the minute the hearing started, and it was all a bunch of acting for the cameras.

Some mornings, the job of finding the perfect headline can be tougher than others. This morning was one of the difficult ones. It took way too much work to find a simple, straightforward headline about yesterday’s Certification that didn’t also wax poetic about January 6th, 2021. But NBC nailed it with this perhaps overly poetic but direct submission: “With an intent stare, a wide smile and a simple declaration, Harris certifies her loss to Trump.

image.png
Finding myself in a generous spirit this fine Tuesday morning, I will say this about Kamala Harris: she’d be a fun day-drinking friend. Wouldn’t she? Don’t get me wrong, she must be kept miles away from the nuclear football at all times. But just hanging out, she would laugh at the dumbest of jokes about our mutual unemployment and even find something amusing when the last bottle of chardonnay accidentally spilled down the back of the couch.

But I digress. The certification of Donald J. Trump’s election went off without a hitch yesterday afternoon, in 30 short minutes, presided over by Vice President Harris. To some, this may seem like fine hair-splitting, but Harris did not “certify” the election; Congress did. Harris just announced the result.

Yesterday’s certification set a recent record; it was the first election in 50 years when a Republican was elected, but the Democrats failed to contest the election during the certification. Notably, in 2017, a group of House Democrats objected to the certification of Trump’s first election (which failed to grip when no Senator joined). This time, no.

Every corporate media article about yesterday’s unremarkable certification devoted a third to a half of its content to the ever-growing progressive mythology related to January 6th, 2021, which talking heads yesterday offensively compared to the Holocaust and the U.S. Civil War.

But none of the talking heads or corporate media pundits mentioned the communist bombing of the ‘sacrosanct’ U.S. Capitol in 1983 by radicalized communist sorority girls. Headline from Smithsonian Magazine, January 6, 2020:

image 2.png
The group’s bomb was strategically planted just outside the Senate chamber, and the explosion caused substantial damage to the Capitol's north wing, shattering windows, blowing off doors, and leaving a large crater in the marble floor. Purportedly, the bombing, which happened at night when the Capitol was closed, was intended to influence US policy in Grenada and Lebanon.

image 3.png
The group next planned to murder a large number of congressmen. The ringleader-lady, Susan Rosenberg, who was 28 in 1983, served 16 years in prison until President Bill Clinton commuted both her and her co-ringleader’s sentences.

Don’t bother asking progressives about the literal bombing of the Capitol in 1983, or the Congressional mass-murder plan, since they’ve long-since miniaturized the actual bombing story, in a narrative-reducing process that is rhetorically comparable to turning juicy bunches of grape into a handful of dry raisins. It means nothing, a mere fringe event, especially when compared to the mass invasion of the U.S. Capitol on January 6th, 2021, by MAGA-cap-wearing tourists (plus one guy with buffalo horns).

It is telling that Democrats in Congress more fear unarmed grandmothers from Orlando and retired firefighters than radicalized communists with real improvised explosive devices.

Here I am digressing again! Wrapping this up, with yesterday’s smooth, uneventful certification, 2025 is off to a promising start. The stage is now set for a presidential term that does not feature multiple impeachment efforts or a “Resist” movement in the opposition party that, as you will recall, was based on the debunked notion that Trump “stole the election” thanks to Russian election interference, especially that Chief Interferor, Putin.

In other words, it was Democrat election denialism. Which is the second-worst sin after insurrection, except when real, communist domestic terrorists do it.

And she probably would be easy to take advantage of after a bottle or 2 and even might be fun.
