iPhone users where are you at?

I just talked to someone (at lunch yesterday?) that got the Voyager. Once the 'coolness' of the touchscreen wore off, they realized they paid a lot of money for an ENV..

That and the touchscreen would make a lot of accidental calls.
Yeah, the Voyager is about 4x the price...I guess I need to think about how I use my phone. I like my XV6700 in some ways. Windows Mobile has advantages, but it's also buggy at times and I can't sync with my work computer (which has all of my contacts/calendar info). Maybe I'll simplify and get an ENV. They need new colors though. The green is ugly, the silver is boring, and orange is not for me (A would probably try to steal it).

I did get the backup plan with my phone.

All my contacts are online, and the phone synch's with them. I can go online and add contacts (my entire work list is on there). It keeps track of changes made either to the phone or online, and if I change phones, it will let me synch them to the new phone.

We used the internet so little with BG's phone (other than over a wireless network) we cancelled her data plan.

I think she would be happier with an EnV too.

We used the Navigator last Monday to get to Luthersville.. We hit 295 and trafiic was STOPPED. Navigator took us into Baltimore, all street level, and NO traffic. We emptied out onto I-83 North of 695... I was impressed.

I've bounced my phone off of tile floors. Stepped on it.. (my first and only scratch on the face plate) and no detrimental effects. It just FEELS much sturdier than all the other flip phones..

I wish I could synch with work.. but doesn't matter what phone I have.. NMCI isn't going to allow it anyway.

Exactly. So, I'm considering not even bothering. I can pull all the info off of the work computer, put it on the home computer, and then sync with the phone. However, going the other direction (getting new stuff from the phone to work) has to be done manually :ohwell:

If that's the case, that's the first impressive thing I've heard..

Verizon is an additional $45 a month for internet access.
:bs:

I have a Samsung with Verizon Wireless and I pay $60/month. That includes unlimited internet, VCAST video, unlimited Verizon inNetwork text messaging, unlimited nights ands weekends, 450 anytime minutes, and phone insurance.

Oh, and I can send and recieve video and picture messages at no additional charge. Speedy, try doing that on your iPhone.

Which model Samsung has internet access? You can post messages to the forum from your phone?

This is your captain!
How well does your iPhone work in Southern MD?

Where is there a dead spot at?

I live in Piney Point, How is the coverage out there? How about in the the Ranch Club, I have family that lives there.

I have an iphone and live down off of Flat Iron road. The signal isn't so bad there, but web access can be slow, with (I'm guessing) lots of retries due to bit errors and such. In civilization, it works great. Phone service works great almost everywhere.

If you want to ##### about where the service is for a certain company start your own post. If you want to debate about what phone I should get instead of the iPhone START ANOTHER THREAD.

workaholic - thanks for your post.

AndyMarquisLIVE & itsbob - I do not care about your post, you do not own an iPhone so I am ignoring your post I wish you would stay away from this. If you have something to say about this response, PM me directly with your concerns.

Do cell companies pay to put towers on private land?

do you have any information on that, i'd like to make some extra moola from some unused land if i could

Anyone remember the bag phones? lol how about the Miami Vice cellphone? you were big pimping if you had one of those original cellphones

Pulled from other post:

clevalley, normally where is your sister-in-law at? When you say off the beaten path; do you mean she is off of 95 or like roads off of Budds Creek Rd.

I didn't have service with verizion on that section of the Highway also, inbetween Morgantown (10 mins north) till about Washington, PA and it would lose service here and there on the highway.

I do understand that this is a public forum but I don't care what itsbob did at Lowes and Giant with his kids...
The creator of the thread only wants to hear from people who have Iphones, do you have an Iphone?

ONLY $399?? eNV is only $79 and my small informal poll says it's a MUCH better, more preferred phone.. Touch screen is a nice touch, but in the end it's still just a PHONE!!

We had maybe 12 phones at lunch today.. and just looking around the table, there were 7 or 8 ENV's.. I think that's a hell of a number considering how many phones there are to chose from.. 3/4 were of one type and model..

Have you seen those Alltell comercials with the Wizard?

Mr Wizard!
