My son has a situation in which his wife started working for a local construction company...well within 3 months, here's a 40 year old chasing her...calling her at 1:30 in the morning...needless to say. She walked out the door while carrying what he thought was his child....hmmm. Who's child?? Hubby or Wimpy? No matter, there was a convienent miscarriage. Anyways, here's what's up. He Who?? Hubby or Wimpy? was home, working to provide...loving wife and kids. Now, she's living with him, took the child and is denying visitation..just being a nasty nasty little person. So she takes him Who?? Hubby or Wimpy? for an ex parte...he finds out the truth about the wimpy 40 year old who's denied everything the whole time...so calls him. Let's meet face to face...guess what....He's now got a civil restraining order. Nobody here is responsible for their actions except the one who's getting the shaft. And these are our family values? We need to be able to sue for alienation of affection in this state. Men watch out for WIMPY....the excavator man!! This isn't the first marriage he's destroyed....

I was wondering how old her son was because she kept mentioning the 40 year old as if 40 was a bad year to be or something :shrug:

I'd gladly offer some advice, empathy or comments to help MR if you could elaborate a little more please.

A bigger question would be does her son know she has laid this out here for the whole world to see? Bad enough when your wife ditches you but you don't need your Momma spreading your business on the streets too. Besides that I think the original post should have been in the ANNOUNCEMENT section where this sort of crap is normal.

Sounds like you and Wimpy would get along well together....how about we give your wife, Joe's phone number? They can dig a fine mess for you too..... The We was my bad choice in words.

You can blame the excavator all you want. But your son's ex-wife is the one who crossed the line. She didn't have to bang her boss. The marriage was between your son and daughter-in-law. There is no third party to accept responsibility for the stability of their marriage. You're letting the wife off easy by spreading her share of the marriage' failure to her boss.

I must say the title of the thread appears to be rhetorical; the whole story is a tragedy of errors. It sounds like the marriage was a lost cause before the job entered the picture.

I had a similar situation. My first husband was cheating on me, and left me for another girl, who just happened to use to be a lesbian, and look like a boy. I moved on and met my husband i have now, but my ex and i had a car, and it was in both of our names, he didnt have a license. My boyfriend and i were paying for the car, and the insurance. One night my ex came and asked if he could borrow the car so that someone could go with him while he drove to work. Being the nice person that i am, i let him have it. To make a long story short, i didnt see it again for two weeks, when i found out where it was, i went to get it. Him, his girlfriend, his brother, and another friend came to my house, on my property, and tried to steal the car back. I called the police, and while i was waiting for them to get there, i went out with a knife, cut the tire, and walked back inside. Mind you, no one was near me when i did it. Next thing i know, Im getting called from the sherrif's office, im being charged with assult, and have an ex parte put on me because I threatened my ex, who was a good 100 yards away, with a knife. I got screwed with that, i got screwed in my divorce, and now im getting screwed with my child support. But unfortunately, thats how the law works, most of the time, the people who do the least amount of wrong, are the ones who pay the highest price. To make matters worse, i had a lawyer from Mike Miller's office, throughout the whole thing, and my ex didnt have a lawyer. Good luck to your son, i hope everything works out for him. He will probably have to take anger management classes, thats what they do to us angry people...

Did the classes help much? Why did you take a knife to the tire? Wasn't it just hurting you in the long run?
