Is Jesus a black man?

bcp

In My Opinion
He was middle eastern.
could not have been black, the Bible makes no mention of Jesus having hundreds of unclaimed children, or of him spending excessive time in jail for selling drugs or ho's on the corners of Jerusalum.

Now you are just reaching, Jesus of Nazareth was a Jew, He was dark skinned, He also was a very strong man as is His profession was that of a carpenter.

Middle Eastern isn't considered "Oriental"? .Till' this day no one can actually pinpoint what Jesus actually looked like.

People are remembering Jesus for all the little things and not for the message that he preached mainly here on Earth.

"Oriental" has undergone a lot of change in meaning down through the years, and it's actually no longer considered politically correct. That's because in the every day usage of it, it's come to mean an Asian from the Far East.

No one today would hear the word "Oriental" and immediately think of a Syrian, a Lebanese or Pakistani.

Very true, I was just technically speaking that's all. But, the common person wouldn't even think about it.

You are right, I do however believe that he probably was dark skinned as are most people from that region. Not necessarily black but dark skinned.
