Is Jesus a black man?

You are right man was created before the plants, God even said that none of the plants started growing because he didnt water them yet... Didnt get watered till he made Adam on the 6th day.. :)
Except that he put Adam in the Garden (the one with plants), before he made any other animal (including Eve, four days later).

As you say, it's not complete. It neither does, nor needs to, say everything. Some things are just so clearly obvious as to not need to be said specifically.

Realize, as you are critical of my reading, I am of yours. You specifically believe that Cain married a sister, yet it does not say anything about a sister before Seth's younger siblings - yet Cain was married before Seth was born.

That's okay, we can read it differently. I can read the words, and take my meaning from what's written. You can read the words, and take your meaning from what's not written. It's okay. God reveals to us each as we need to get it.

Don't forget that there were 130 years between Cain and Seth....Seth was mentioned because Eve said he was Abel's replacement, in those 130 years Adam and Eve had many many children, grandchildren and great grandchildren all whom married each other.

Can you show me the scripture that says there were children between Cain and Seth?

What I saw was:

Gen 4:1 Adam lay with his wife Eve, and she became pregnant and gave birth to Cain. She said, "With the help of the LORD I have brought forth a man." 2 Later she gave birth to his brother Abel. ... 25 Adam lay with his wife again, and she gave birth to a son and named him Seth, saying, "God has granted me another child in place of Abel, since Cain killed him."

Gen 5:3 When Adam had lived 130 years, he had a son in his own likeness, in his own image; and he named him Seth. 4 After Seth was born, Adam had other sons and daughters and lived 800 years .
So, I'm not sure where your 130 years between Cain and Seth come from. Adam was 130 when he had Seth, but it never says (that I can see) how old he was when he had Cain. And, I only see evidence of siblings younger than Seth, not older, and Seth not being born until after Abel's death - after Cain having a wife.

But, if you can show me something different, I'll be glad to take a look!

I misquoted sorry, I can only say that 130 years old and Eve had Seth, how old was he when Cain was born? We do not know could have been 40 years old or 80 years old we can only assume that their were other children in between Adam and eve had what like 33 sons and 23 daughters all together. over 800 years.. and they had kids and those kids had kids and so on. All I am saying is that there is no reason to say they didnt have kids we only know that Cain was the First one born to them.

That's a fair assumption, and I don't dispute it's possible. It's also equally possible that there were more than JUST Adam and Eve created. There's not enough scripture to definatively say one way or the other.

It also really does not matter. As you and I have both repeatedly pointed out, the Bible tells us what we need to know, not what we want to know. Cain had a wife, where she came from is not a concern for the rest of the story.

No, I don't have an interpretation. Since everyone believes something different and nobody can agree on what is says, and NOBODY can provide proof of any of it, it's fiction, nothing more.

I haven't bothered to interpret "Harry Potter" either. I read it, I enjoyed it, it was a good story.. don't care what it "means" to anybody.

We can debate our "interpretations" all century long, but ONE FACT cannot be debated. The Bible says that the ONLY way to heaven is through Christ Jesus. That's it. We can debate Song of Solomon, we can debate the women's place in church (although let's NOT), we can debate the musical choices, and tattoos... "I am the WAY, the TRUTH and the LIFE. NO MAN comes to the Father but by me." Undebatable. (Is that a word?)

If you don't accept this, the Holy Spirit won't reveal anything else to you.

Your prob right, jsut doesnt seem that way sometimes.

I don't think there is one Christian in this forum doesn't understand the fundamental premise for our belief. And I can say that with certainty now that JPC is gone. We may have our differences on issues like the creation or Jesus being white/black/brown... or how certain denominations practice their faith, but we all understand what defines our faith.

Very true, I was raised Pentecostal. I read your testimony on another thread about how you came to believe in Jesus and accepted him as your personal saviour, By the way I know who Phil Keaggy is as well and met him a long time ago. Arent the Navigators associated with Assemblies of God Churches?

Ok, now I've got all of your attention. Do you really think it mattered to Jesus what ethnic group he or people were?
