Joy Reid, Rick Wilson Laugh At ‘Dumb Ass’ Red State Americans

The name-calling session began as Wilson, co-founder of the anti-Republican organization beset by allegations that another of its co-founders sexually harassed young males, accused “Republican governors,” like Florida’s Ron DeSantis and Texas’ Greg Abbott , of playing “stupid games” by allowing Americans fired for refusing to obey their employers’ vaccine mandates to collect unemployment benefits.

He then broadened his attacks to Americans who, he said, “didn’t take the responsible adult human step to get vaccinated.”

“I missed that part when I was a young man reading [William F.] Buckley [Jr.], and [Friedrich von] Hayek and [Russell] Kirk and all of the conservative greats — I missed the part about being a dumb ass when it comes to trying to save people’s lives,” Wilson said.

Reid laughed loudly at Wilson’s insult of Red State Americans.

She probably had a cue card saying "cackle" off screen.

I guess it's all in the perspective.
Joy Reid and this clown are the dumb asses in my book.
This Rick Wilson ---never heard of him before---he seems upset because one of his bro's likes young males and harasses them ,gee , that's a really intelligent perspective, and he calls unvaccinated people dumb ass's. I would bet he and joy Reids IQ's added together would not hit today's temperature.

SHOT. . .

MSNBC’s Joy Reid shared this non-story about Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis possibly creating a State Guard, just like a large number of other states, calling the idea “fascisty bananas”:

CHASER. . .

And here’s fellow prog Sarah Silverman calling Reid out over it, saying, “Please read the article before you post this stuff you’re a news outlet” and “The truth has to matter”:

Sarah Silverman knocks liberal uproar she received for criticizing Joy Reid: You dare criticize your own party

The comedian complained how "we're so divided" that liberals like herself "can't even criticize the people [on] our own side."

"We can’t even critique anyone in your own party without punishment," Silverman said. "One of the hosts of The View was like, ‘What hubris for Sarah Silverman to accuse a Black woman of not reading,' Oy! Jesus H. - What the f- I f---ing surrender! I cannot believe I need to say this, but I did not criticize Joy-Ann because she’s Black, but because she’s a Harvard-educated journalist with the responsibility ideally of showing the whole picture and not just a piece of a picture."

Silverman went on to say Reid is not just a "political journalist" but a "political commentator" with opinions, leaving her to ask, "Where do I get just the plain old news?"

"I need a news outlet that's just the facts, something that I can draw my own opinion. It's just facts, and then I draw my own opinion on it. That'd be so nice!" Silverman exclaimed. "I'd like to draw my own conclusions sometimes. I mean, I'm interested in other people's thoughts, but, um, it can't only be that."

"And good grief! You dare criticize anything in your own party, you're the enemy. And that kind of black and white thinking on both sides… it's such a turn-off to me. That 'you're either with us or against us' kind of vibe with no room for questions or critique- it feels very not liberal to me. It feels like right-wingish," she added.

Joy Reid Accuses Elon Musk Of ‘Misappropriating Black Vernacular’

“So for so many reasons, being a freeloader, and a selfish and disrespectful one, and for misappropriating black vernacular for misogynistic purposes, Elon Musk is the absolute worst,” Reid said during her program on MSNBC program “The Reid Out” on Wednesday.

Reid has interestingly used the term “Karen” herself. As The Daily Wire previously reported following the Jussie Smollett verdict:
Reid also downplayed the verdict on Twitter for the most part, except for a bizarre retweet that referenced the situation. The “ReidOut” host said “Great point…” to an original statement that said, “If #JussieSmollett is being convicted of falsely reporting a hate crime, what about all the #Karen’s who have made false claims to law enforcement and tried to weaponize the police against Black Men & Women putting their lives in danger.”
Predictably, Reid had plenty to say about Smollett’s “attack” when it first happened. Her reaction to the original report of the incident said, “Nooses never really disappeared as messages of a very specific kind of terror, but every time they’re used, my God, it’s chilling. Praying for Jussie’s full recovery. And for us all.”

‘Pot … meet kettle.’ Joy Reid trying to discredit Dr. Robert Malone’s appearance on Joe Rogan and ‘mass formation psychosis’ goes oh SO very wrong

Joy Reid really should stick to talking about things she understands. There must be something, right?

She sure seemed to know a lot about those time-traveling homophobic hackers who put a bunch of homophobic stuff on her blog. We still can’t believe she not only pushed that theory, but her supporters believed it and MSNBC kept her on the air.

Now THAT is a mass psychosis.

Heh.

No wonder she was all fussy with Dr. Robert Malone’s appearance with Joe Rogan and his discussing the mass formation psychosis … hit a little too close to home.

MSNBC’s Joy Reid Says Conservatives Are ‘A Party Of Selfish People Who Cannot Play Well With Others’

“They’re white, so-called Christian conservatives who feel like this country was built by them, for them. Their party, the Republicans,” is merely “a party of selfish people who cannot play well with others,” said Reid in her opening monologue. “They even have their own cable networks.”

She then compared Christian conservatives to a classic “Star Trek” character named Charlie, whom she described as an “annoying alien incel who destroys everything around him when he doesn’t get his way.”

Reid claimed that white, Christian conservatives wrongly believe the country is being taken away from them. “A certain percentage of Americans feel like the country used to focus on them and fixate on them, and they were the main character. And now that they feel that they’re not the main character, and they don’t always win, and they don’t get to do what they want, and they don’t get to have their way, it’s all an outrage. It’s all a crime. Everything must be overturned. so it goes back to the way they thought it should be,” she said in a stream-of-consciousness.

After Reid laid the blame at Christian conservatives, Tom Nichols of The Atlantic followed up on Reid’s comments, saying, “We take offense at everything” and embrace a “culture of narcissism.” He said this was to fill “this yawning gaping hole where spirituality used to be for a lot of people, that this has become a religion of the self.”

I read her whole quote, and can’t disagree with her. I also don’t find the qualities she attributes to White Christian conservatives as negatives . Quite the opposite.

Selfishness is an immutable human trait, that has driven us from somewhere in the middle of the food chain to our current level of civilization.

Communism is the belief that selfishness can be eliminated, and look how well that worked out for the very country that tried to adopt it.

Communism is selfish too. It's just all at the top.

‘Joe Rogan Said It Was Fine’: MSNBC’s Joy Reid Blasts Rogan In Bizarre COVID Rant

Reid attacked “white, so-called Christian conservatives” in her searing talk, referring to the group as “special citizens.”

“I don’t want to wear a mask, and if you try to make me, I’ll attack the low-waged clerks at the store or at the Burger King. And I don’t wanna to get vaccinated either. People get sick from me? Oh well, not my problem. Joe Rogan said it was fine,” Reid said.

“My kids aren’t going to mask up to protect those other kids. F those other kids; their parents are probably commies anyway,” she added.

The shot at Rogan likely referred to his ongoing outspoken statements against vaccine mandates. Rogan also recently hosted Dr. Robert Malone after the doctor was banned from Twitter over his statements related to COVID-19.

MSNBC's Joy Reid suggests GOP has 'hatred' for Biden because he was VP to 'the Black president'

"Because unbelievably, he has become for Republicans as much of a sort of figure of hatred, a hate object, as President Obama was. You know, the Black president. Like, he was his vice president, maybe that’s part of it. I don’t know what it is," Reid told a panel on Wednesday.

"But this is the like the most sort of norm, core Democrat ever. He’s a moderate, you know, sort of ordinary Democrat. There’s nothing outrageous about him, but they have cast him as some sort of demonic character," Reid added.

The "ReidOut" host later asked MSNBC contributor Claire McCaskill if there was a way for Biden to "get people in this Republican cult to even listen" to him.

Joy Reid mocks Ron DeSantis for touting freedom in Florida, calls the state 'authoritarian'

In his "State of the State" speech Tuesday, DeSantis commented how Florida is becoming a refuge for those looking to escape "authoritarian, arbitrary and seemingly never-ending mandates and restrictions." He went on to call out the policies he deemed "destructive" and based on "blind adherence" to "Faucian declarations."

Reid accused DeSantis of conducting a natural immunity experiment in his state and for having a reckless disregard for Floridians' health.

"DeSantis sure loves a talk about freedom, especially the kind that risks the health of people in his own state who have essentially been part of a giant natural herd immunity experiment for the past two years, whether they want to be or not," Reid said.

Ah Yes to Joy FREEDOM is Authoritarian
A couple of days ago a discussion was about the C word . I am a firm believer that the C word by itself is really lacking , when you add " ignorant or pompous " just before it, it adds a lot to the conversation and meaning.

With Joy you would need to use both though!
