Just FYI, in case anyone is interested. I decided to run a real-world test of the backup system. Hooked up (3) 200 watt portable solar panels and went into backup mode. Best I saw was 300 watts out of a rated 600 (will never get that..., maybe 500 if I'm lucky). When I took the snapshot, it was very overcast, so solar gain was down a lot. Also, all the fridges had turned off, so this was pretty much just lights, tv, internet.... Inputting about a 1/3 of the panel's rating, it was in excess of my usage. Estimated run time, at that input and draw, was over 8 days. Sure, everything running and overcast/night will drop it, usually to about 20 hours, but any solar gain will extend runtime. Only going to get more overcast today, have to re-run this with full sun.
Time remaining at the top, DC Input is the solar Input, Output is the house usage.
