So by poetry.. do you mean like Frost, or DefJam?? Because I'm thinking it's not really about poetry as much as Rap or HipHop..

I enjoy different kinds of poetry but I am passionate about Spoken Word the most. I don't expect everyone to be into it because many artists recite with a hip-hop flavor.

But, I would hope that Ray West would have something for many tastes as he may not even be in to spoken word poetry himself.

poetry is poetry... be it Frost or be it Frost being read in a hip hop fashion... i'm actually kinda interested now... a few places around here have tried poetry night but flopped... always up for a good night of talent...
