Don't you worry about chlorine getting in their eyes and causing irritation?kwillia said:I'm going to start a whole other thread about in-ground pool safety. My kids are only allowed in once they have recited the "don't go within 4 feet of the filter intake" rule...
SEE, VRAI...vraiblonde said:I think that's highly irresponsible. What if there is flesh-eating bacteria in the water? Please make sure you lather your child with antibacterial gel if you're going to take him/her anywhere near the water. And I would definitely make them wear goggles to protect their eyes.
You can't be too careful.

We should invite a couple of the single forum women out for a boat ride. I can probably rustle up some ski equipment.
Where did you go? The patuxent was packed.bohman said:For the record - we went out on the boat Saturday (against the advice of the naysayers) and everything went beatifully. The little girl initially complained about her PFD as it restricted her movement and made her too hot (as all PFDs do), but after a nap and a bottle she began to enjoy herself.
My only real concern was all the extra traffic that I expected to be on the water on a holiday weekend, but there was much less than expected.
