We're still up in the air about going this weekend. Have T send me a PM with her cell number so I can call her if we go.FastCarsSpeed said:Chasey,
We are bringing the Doo's down to the beach this weekend..
Na, got rid of mine a few years back, besides mine had a much larger tillerAirgasm said:That one even has an extension
Is that your boat?
Air is cool. Hell, I always pay for the gas but you can sure buy me an adult beverage!Airgasm said:Nah...
I'd gladly ride in Mikeys boat, would even buy gas and adult beverages
No debate as far as I'm concerned (power/sail) as long as I'm on the water.

..and Fast, sails have the right of way in all but 2 instances.
1. When under power.
2. When overtaking another vessel regardles of power.
My disdain for sailboats involves a dolt who didn't know about the 2nd.
Hell yea but the dumbass was under sail overtaking me. We chased him across the bay after getting the rods secured.gumby said:Hey Mikey. Member throwin the 16 ounce trolling sinker at the blowboat when he cut our lines??
I thought I was going to pee my pants laughing, but you are right, he was no longer a sailboat when the sail came down and the motor fired up.
I'm laughing now thinkin about it and I know you remember.
Mikeinsmd said:How quickly he learned how wrong he was. Sinker dents all over his hull. I still seethe when I think about that.
bohman said:And he deserved everyone of them. Anyone abusing their "right of way" deserves to have their boat taken from them. I had to laugh, while bringing our boat down to Solomons from Baltimore we overheard an argument over the VHF between a barge captain and a sailor. Captain warned sailor to give way, sailor began arguing that he had right of way. Common sense (and polite) warnings from the captain about his inability to turn or stop did no good. The conversation started getting ugly, and the Coast guard finally had to step in and tell sailor to turn. What a dummy. He almost got ran over, too.
I think that's highly irresponsible. What if there is flesh-eating bacteria in the water? Please make sure you lather your child with antibacterial gel if you're going to take him/her anywhere near the water. And I would definitely make them wear goggles to protect their eyes.meme said:I'll let my 5 year old go
Hell, I'm the one hopping wakes too!! I'll make ya some waves!!FastCarsSpeed said:Yeah I have had to wave my friends to follow me when on the Doo's. Being that most boaters dont like us I try to make sure we are as polite as possible. I just need Mikey to leave out of Battle Creek a couple times so I have some wakes to jump LOL...

You can't be too careful.
I don't blame you. All sorts of bad things can happen to kids who stick their toes in the water. There might be a stick floating and the child could be seriously injured.meme said:I wouldn't even let her stick her feet in the water.
I'm going to start a whole other thread about in-ground pool safety. My kids are only allowed in once they have recited the "don't go within 4 feet of the filter intake" rule...vraiblonde said:I don't blame you.
