Know anyone quitting over the Federal Employee vaccine mandate?

If I may ...

I'm still willing to bet that you are currently collecting some form of SS or retirement and if it came to pass that these were threatened, you wouldn't be so bold in your thoughts or actions.
You know and understand so little of people and human nature. There are those, though angrily so and contemptuously, will walk away from things just like what is happening today happy, to take their chances rather than being a sheep lead to slaughter. There are many that have the skills and knowledge to provide many wanted services that others will pay for to keep them afloat should your possible draconian thoughts come to pass. But instead of encouraging such actions, you sow doubt, hesitancy, compliance. And I would be so 'bold in [my] thoughts or actions ". Because I would rather face homelessness, financial ruin, and/or die a free man, than follow the dictates of a tyrannical government.

I have no SS or retirement. I am just a recalcitrant freedom minded patriot individual. You and others on the other hand? Hold so tightly to materiel possessions and position, will easily fall prey and walk through the door with an unknown destination in an attempt to maintain those materiel possessions and your position to only find out later you will lose them anyway.

I can see the point you are trying to make. My question is what happened to all of these people who left their jobs? There has been no spike in employment (thinking they moved on to better jobs) and there has been no spike in enrollment in higher education institutions (thinking they enrolled to get better educated to get better positions) so.... where did all of these people go?

Retired before they were ready to quit working? Perhaps they were financially prepared?

My younger brother, for example. Had 8 years until "full" retirement (bastard quite likely works for the last non-union company that has an actual pension) but quit during the pandemic because the writing was on the wall for him. He retired "early". Certainly this doesn't cover everyone you're wondering about, but none of us can know the particular circumstances surrounding every individual.

This may cover a small amount of the people however, the vast majority is still unaccounted for. Where did all of these people from the workforce go?

Funny you choose "still unaccounted for" to describe it. Because that is precisely what happens when one drops out of the workforce, they are not accounted for any longer in the government measures of labor underutilization. In government stats, I think this is the U3 or U4 measure.

But if you are interested, I recommend shadowstats.com - it is subscription based, but well worth it. There, the founder, John Williams, tracks various stats according to the "old" way it was done before government started redefining things to create more rosy outlooks. For example, I'm sure you're aware that the Consumer Price Index (CPI) is dorked around with to remove certain things from its representational basket of goods. I understand why the government says they do it, but there is another side to it as well.

But yea, Shadowstats tracks things the way they used to be tracked.

The headline doesn’t match the facts presented in the article. Not even a little

It’s a common tactic used by Fox News because they know their readership doesn’t read beyond the headline and instead just run off and paste their absolute trash journalism all over the place.

Heh.

Biden admin barred from firing unvaccinated employees after DC judge issues injunction

A Washington, D.C., district court judge issued a temporary restraining order Thursday that prevents both civilian and active-duty military plaintiffs from being terminated after they sued the Biden administration over religious exemptions to COVID-19 vaccines.

"None of the civilian employee plaintiffs will be subject to discipline while his or her request for a religious exception is pending," District Judge Colleen Kollar-Kotelly ordered, according to a Minute Order obtained by Fox News.

Judge Bars Biden Administration from Firing Unvaccinated Employees with Pending Religious Exemptions

District Judge Colleen Kollar-Kotelly issued a temporary restraining order and preliminary injunction prohibiting the firing of both civilian and active-duty military federal employees while their religious exemption pleas are pending.

“None of the civilian employee plaintiffs will be subject to discipline while his or her request for a religious exception is pending,” Kollar-Kotelly wrote in her order obtained by Fox News. She also specified that “active duty military plaintiffs, whose religious exception requests have been denied, will not be disciplined or separated during the pendency of their appeals.”

The court also ordered the defendants in the Biden administration, including all the secretaries of the departments in the executive branch, to send a memo on Friday confirming that they will not discipline or terminate staff while the issue is still be adjudicated. According to the complaint, “plaintiffs, along with hundreds of thousands of other federal employees and active-duty service members will be terminated, discharged or separated on or before November 22, 2021.”

“The Biden administration has shown an unprecedented, cavalier attitude toward the rule of law and an utter ineptitude at basic constitutional contours,” the plaintiffs’ attorney Michael Yoder told Fox News.
