She's no comparison to TS! He won in open wheel and was a champion! She's a POA who sells advertising dollars. JPM is the only other open wheeler (than TS) who made it because he also won in open wheel.

There's a bigger list of who started in Open Wheel and can't do shiat in NASCAR than there is of who started in Open Wheel and have found success.

But I think Danica will last 5 seasons at least. She will find fame in NASCAR, but I doubt she will find Victory Lane. Her fellow open wheel-non driving NASCAR drivers will probably see to that.

You're giving her 5 seasons? She'll never make it to cup. If they stick her in a cup car for a race or two, those boys will put her into the wall (if she doesn't do it herself).

And they're still the fastest growing sport in the world because people don't want to see boring "stock" cars racing at 100 mph. They want to see cars racing at 200 mph. If I wanted to be bored, I'd watch baseball or golf on TV. :shrug:

I used to say the same thing about Jimmy Spencer...only it was for the comedic value of watching him trying to wedge himself in there.

You forgot to add AJ Foyt , Dan Gurney and Mario Andretti to the list of successful open wheel and stock car racing drivers.

why would stock cars be limited to 100 mph?
