lab puppy wanted

I am currently starting to look for a black or yellow lab puppy. If there is anyone that knows of a breeder locally could you please let me know. I'm willing to go out of state but not too far. Everything I keep coming across seems to be in North Carolina. I would appreciate any help. TIA

not true! we just want a puppy that we can raise and train ourselves. every dog either of us have had have has been gotten as a puppy.

You CAN teach an old dog new tricks... besides 1 isn't old...:shrug:

Mine's still relatively small...11 months and 60 pounds, but he's all gangly legs and bounds around the back yard like a deer. His camouflage brown fur doesn't help matters. :lol:

I can understand wanting a puppy. it's an experience thats for sure. Sometimes the rescued ones are so greatful though and they turn into the best dogs.
