Ladies: If your s/o was buying drinks in the club...

Sheah.. I'd have a problem with it.

I remember being single.

I remember going to clubs.

And I remember buying drinks for women.


I remember what it meant when I bought the drink - and I certainly remember what it meant when they accepted the drink.


Buying someone a drink is most definitely an invitation to rub uglies - at the very least a social advance. You think the guy bought you a drink because you look thirsty?

Accepting a drink is not necessarily a green light for intercourse, and of course there is no obligation to exchange fluids.

However, I can't think of a single time that a woman accepted a drink from me, and said, "Thanks, I was thirsty" and went about her business. Every time the drink was accepted it signaled an acknowledgement of at least being open to my advance.

Wouldn't happen in my house. He knows his place...alot of people in relationships/marriages don't these days...we keep it ol' skool. Just because he's okay with it doesn't mean that I should do it anyway....its the principle of it.
