Sheah.. I'd have a problem with it.

I remember being single.

I remember going to clubs.

And I remember buying drinks for women.

I remember what it meant when I bought the drink - and I certainly remember what it meant when they accepted the drink.

Buying someone a drink is most definitely an invitation to rub uglies - at the very least a social advance. You think the guy bought you a drink because you look thirsty?

Accepting a drink is not necessarily a green light for intercourse, and of course there is no obligation to exchange fluids.

However, I can't think of a single time that a woman accepted a drink from me, and said, "Thanks, I was thirsty" and went about her business. Every time the drink was accepted it signaled an acknowledgement of at least being open to my advance.

I approve this post! :yay:

My husband doesn't dance to the music I like to dance to, so he welcomes and even encourages me to go dance with whomever I want...

MAJOR VIOLATIONS HAPPENING.

it has nothing to do with trust...its the principle....

Sigh... ya got me... I can't remember the last time I've been "clubbing" other than attending concerts in the underbelly of downtown Baltimore club joints. :ohwell:

I need clarification ---

Is he buying the drink just for her, or her and others?

Am I there too?

Larry buys drinks for people, including women, all the time. I've had drinks bought for me many times. I dance with other men frequently, and Larry dances with other women...well, not as often because he hates to dance.

What's the big deal?

alot of open relationships i see.....

different strokes for different folks.

Wouldn't happen in my house. He knows his place...alot of people in relationships/marriages don't these days...we keep it ol' skool. Just because he's okay with it doesn't mean that I should do it anyway....its the principle of it.

Are these people friends?

Or does he buy drinks for strange women while you dance with strange men?

Call me possessive, but I'd have an attitude about that.
