I am talking about relationships, not random sex with someone you hope to never see again.
Then you're not talking about cougars.
The term implies an aggressive, carnivorous pussy.
Stalks, attacks, feeds and moves on to the next meal

Okay, but Demi Moore gets promoted as the UberCougar, and she married her toy boy.

OIC. I had this idea that there was dating and other interaction between cougar and cougee.

So let me clarify:

I am talking about relationships, not random sex with someone you hope to never see again.

For relationship purposes - dating, companionship, possible marriage, whatever - how many of you ladies would accept a younger man? And how young would you go?

I dated younger guys 15 years ago and don't see what the big deal is. One relationship was 18 months and he was 19 years younger. We are still friends to this day.
Another relationship lasted almost 18 months and he was 10 years younger.
Dead Jack was 5 years older and he lasted 5 years until he croaked.
Limp Jack was 3 years older and well...The name says it all :roflmao:

If I connect with a guy on several levels, age is not a consideration

No way 20 years or even 15 years younger.

Since I'm seeing someone 15-1/2 years my junior, I guess I'll weigh in on this...

I'm a nondiscriminatory dater. I like men of all ages. Although people tease me for being such, I don't consider myself a cougar. I don't specifically go for younger men, they just happen to go for me.

Some men have maturity and some don't whether they be younger or older. If the younger have it, then I don't have a problem with finding things in common, i.e. politics, ethics, work, music, etc.

Of course, then there's the whole sexual compatability issue. I do find that I prefer a man who doesn't need Viagra to get it up and who can keep up with my appetites. That's not to say that my current relationship is sexually based because it's not, but it happens to be a bonus.

The two downsides I've found so far is that younger men usually want to start a family and settle down and I can't/won't give them that. There's also the issue of aging long before them in the future (health issues, wrinkles, etc). Some can handle that reality, and some can't. If they can, then there's no problem.

Basically, I judge people for who they are, not their birthdate.

Maybe you should ask the same question of men who date older women.

Are you a "cougar"? As in, do you like younger men?

And if so, how young? Like, you're a 40 year old woman, would you date, say, a 21 year old?

Personally, I'm not interested in young guys. We have nothing in common and they're hard to talk to.

I am a reverse cougar...:killingme I like much older men... :cds:

The man I am dating is 14 years older than me :jameo:

I'm not old enough to be considered a cougar, but I hate younger men (with the exception of my hubby, who's only a couple years younger). Heck, when I was in college I even hated college aged guys. :lmao: I've always been attracted to older men. Dated a man 20 yrs older than me for a bit (I was 21-22), and though it was fun while it lasted, I knew that it would never be a long term thing. AND, hubby and I both agree that had he not had kids, he and I would probably have never gotten along. He had to mature when he became a dad.

I'll answer for them because they are going to lie about it and claim it to be for deep, meaningful, soul mate reasons which it may be, MAY be, on occasion; being with an older woman means experienced sex, experienced world view, maturity, experienced sex, less 'kid' stuff immaturity, inflates his ego and self esteem big time, she has money, knows where and what to do and go and what she likes (less thinking for him) and, to some extent, experienced sex.
