No I wouldn't be offended at all, it doesn't apply to me. I've always worked. I just recently went to part time.

Why not? Do you expect kids to grow up in a society were no one can say anything mean to them?

Your kid obviously didn't know how to properly act in the comic book store. Should I be politically correct and say that your kid was acting the fool in the store?

No matter how you slice it you should be personally embarrassed of the way your kid was acting in the store.

There are plenty of establishments that don't allow kids. They are typically located in Caribbean islands. It is great to go to a resort and not have to even so much as see a stupid kid for week or two.

i think i will make it a goal in life that whenever i go out with my kids i'm going to pinch all 4 of them so that they will start to scream and cry and then i will sit there and pretend that i don't hear anything. simply to annoy people like you. if you don't want to hear kids that may fuss on ocasion in public, then stay at home where you don't have any kids. no one said that you had to go out.

Keep your kids home. Adults have the means to get to locations. Your kids get dragged to them, where they usually fuss and squawk.

why should she be embarrased? oh because her kid fussed, and we all know that no other kid has ever done that. i'm pretty sure you probably never fussed as a kid.

Why not??? An adult should not call any child "dumb" to be mean. Kids calling each other names and being mean, okay. Adults correcting & punishing a child, okay. Adults calling a child mean names, no. Case closed.

my kids go whereever i tell them to go. and they get dragged around with me a lot. such is life. don't like stay home. i won't come to your house.

oh, and here's a novel thought, kids (like them or not) are considered part of the public. if you don't like them and don't want to hear them then find a private establishment that does not allow them. problem solved.

Now you sound almost as dumb as Mitzis kids. Its a book store. you are supposed to be some what quit in a book store.
