Your kid needs to learn discipline at home not in a place of business.
If you really want your kid to learn discipline in public do it at a playground or at chunky cheese not at a reputable comic book store.
where he started crying while we were in line and it aggravated the guy behind the counter. I will never do that again. Very bad parenting skills on my part. Report me to the hot dog establishment police.
Don't bother. You committed the cardinal sin of admitting that you and/or your child might be less than perfect. From here on out, you'll probably just get recommendations that you take the child out in the woods and abandon it.
trust me your crying kid was aggravating more than just the guy behind the counter. he was just the only one who confronted you about it.
News flash...know body wants to or enjoys hearing your kid crying in public. Your kid crying inside the store is detracting from the experience other patrons of the store paid for.

Well..I am babysitting him today. He wouldn't listen to me so I put him in time out for 2 hours plus I beat his a$$. For additional punishment, he's not getting his hot dog for lunch. Am I doing better?
usually I read the first couple pages and if the comic is good I buy it and stash it in my shed so dumb sumb can't find it. I am very carefull with the comics and never bend a corner or damage them in any way.
I do the same thing at giant when I buy a magazine. I skim through several of them before decideing which one to buy.
Went to the square today for Earth Day. The grand baby got hungry so we went in Larry's for a hot dog and ice cream. Waiting in line the grand baby started having the usual meltdown toddlers have. He was in the stroller and not running around. So we're waiting and the guy behind the counter says "I wish they wouldn't bring their screaming babies in here". Now this wasn't some kid, this was an adult obviously in charge. If this was a restaurant, one of us would have taken him outside. I was pi$$ed. No matter how feel, you don't make comments like that when your customers can hear you. They lost a sale today.
You actually have to hide your comic books from your wife?![]()
If I read it in the store I don't have to pay for it. If I bought it and brought it home my dumb wife would call me a looser and make fun of me for reading comic books.

So, which one is it??? The 1st post is from yesterday and the 2nd from today.
It doesn't sound like you read the first 2 pages then decide if you want to buy it...sounds like you are trying to cover up the fact that you can fully read a comic book, put it back, not pay for it and rip off the store owner (which I called you out on yesterday and you refuse to talk about)....

I do both. Sometimes I will read the entire comic book in the store and roll out. With that being said I do purchase comic books to. I have a very nice comic book collection of my own.
I don;t have to. I just prefer to keep them in the shed and tell my wife that I am going out to work on the lawn mower so I can read them in peace.

Nobody is saying their kid is perfect. However, just because you (figuratively) think your screaming brat is cute doesn't mean anyone else does. And I can tell you that if we were in a line for ice cream and one of my kids had started having a fit, that would have been the end of the ice cream.
