Let's talk about Christmas decorations

I wonder why folks celebrating a Christian Holy Day, buy stuff made in a country that actively suppresses religion.
Because in many ways our celebration is very non-Christian. As apostles spread throughout Europe via Rome some local customs were taken on.
I'd have to do some research to see what time of the year the census was being held. it may have been close to what we have as 25 December, but chances are the exact date was picked to coincide with the Winter Solstice. In brief, our "Christian" holidays have all been "corrupted" by pagan rituals.
As for buying merchandise manufactured in countries that are not only anti-Christianity, but hostile to democracy and capitalism, only our political leaders and people can answer that.
We have put the made in the USA out of business with government regulation and rabid consumption of cheap, throw away products.

I might be interested in renting space there with my hand made crafts and vintage jewelry. Looks expensive, though!
This is my first venture into this so I don't know what other markets charge. I do pay a rent fee and a commission fee for each sale. One thing is they do not allow new vendors to sell things that other vendors in the market already sell. There are already many little shops that sell jewelry so I don't know if they would allow you to come in or not, just depends on what's different about what you make.

If anybody is still looking for ceramic Christmas trees, I hear the Herring Creek Furniture has a bunch. I think they have photos posted on their FB page.

Thank you for sharing this.
There are a lot of ceramic trees out there. The one I have at my shop and in other booths are mid century and sought after by collectors. Mine goes for between $100-$300+ on ebay.
