Because in many ways our celebration is very non-Christian. As apostles spread throughout Europe via Rome some local customs were taken on.I wonder why folks celebrating a Christian Holy Day, buy stuff made in a country that actively suppresses religion.
I surprised the employees haven't gone postal, or at least one of them.I stopped in Michael's today and they have Christmas music playing. No wonder people hate working retail!
This is my first venture into this so I don't know what other markets charge. I do pay a rent fee and a commission fee for each sale. One thing is they do not allow new vendors to sell things that other vendors in the market already sell. There are already many little shops that sell jewelry so I don't know if they would allow you to come in or not, just depends on what's different about what you make.I might be interested in renting space there with my hand made crafts and vintage jewelry. Looks expensive, though!
