Let's talk about Christmas decorations

WHFS used to play all the punk/alt Christmas music until noon on Christmas day. I miss those days.

I learned a little about Bing. One was, when this was aired in 1977, he had been singing popular music on the radio and TV for 45+ years, and you can tell at this age in the video, he's lost none of his singing ability.

Another is - he WAS actually VERY short. 5'7". Bowie is actually slightly taller than average at 5'10".

This actually aired AFTER he died, and was his last hit.

A good traditional version of "Little Drummer Boy"

I played that song to death when I was a kid, literally wore out the record. Makes me cringe when I hear it now.

These days I prefer Chip Davis (Mannheim Steamroller) compositions for Christmas rather than the traditional.
