Lexington Park Ford

Over the weekend I purchased a new truck from Lexington Park Ford Lincoln Mercury. The service that I received was beyond excellent from the salesman to the used car manager to the finance person. They gave me top dollar for my tradeI too! I have purchase many vehicles and have never gotten a deal and the service like I did this past Saturday. The finance manager even called me this morning and said that he had gotten my payment lower (awesome interest rate), he added in the GAP insurance, extended my warranty from 75,000 miles to 100,000 and gave me the tires for 5 year plan. All of that and my payment was lowered by $30.00 a month. If you are in the market for a new vehicle definitely check out Lexington Park Ford. Thank You LPF!!!!

Thank You LPF!!!!
I am curious why this is "news". Did the place use to suck, but has changed? Did the salesmen not previously give good deals and work honestly? Hey, at least you didn't post it to "About SOMD.com".

Wow you all are tough...this was my first post and I just wanted to say something nice:( Sorry...

Don't apologize because others have nothing better to do than bash you. Thanks for posting- I'm looking to get a new car soon and it's helpful to get opinions.

Hey that sounds great but, wondering why they didn't give you the better interest rate Saturday? Why did they just throw in the gap insurance and increase the length of your warranty? Did you pay full price for the truck? Did you get a rebate?

Interesting. Lexington Park Ford is the first place I've bought a car and literally got ripped off. It was so bad and so obvious that when I called them on it they negated the purchase, even though they lied trying to con me into staying with the deal. It was a subtle try the second time around but just as obvious.

Every time I think about it, it pisses me off thinking about what they tried to do, and how unbelievably arrogant they were about it.

They NEVER have to worry about me visiting their dealership EVER!

Didn't take the OP long to come up with an MPD, did it?

Of course.

But...astroturfing is a long-established internet practice and it is even actively patrolled and banned on many forums, particularly those forums (not this one) that rely on advertising income from companies that sell products that are often a subject of forum discussion.

Less frequent and less sophisticated forum users might not be aware of that common fact. Further, common traits of an astroturf post include glowing and detailed endorsement of a product or service...and the post being made by someone new and/or with very low forum post count. Check,,and check.

So if the OP was simply meaning to exuberantly bound in to the forum with one of his first posts being a glowing endorsement of a local business that came straight from the heart..great stuff. But the skepticism evidenced by some commentors?...very well founded.

Especially in light of a huge amount of anecdotal evidence that car dealers down here think A LOT of their cars; that it's nearly always cheaper to drive to Annapolis or Virginia to buy a new car.

Just sayin'

Why did you need GAP insurance on a "purchased" new truck? And What was the interest rate you ended up at?

I'm calling :bs: on the entire post.
