We had 6 minutes between classes and the school I went to was all one floor..It was easily 1/3 mile between some classes, longer if you headed outside to have a smoke between classes.

I hear you. Girl told me I need $5 for renting a locker WTF. Did the schools get short changed with the amount of money they got so they have to charge for lockers. I wounder if they will charge for the gym lockers as well.

I was told the same thing by my son who attends Margaret Brent. My answer was "no." I paid for those lockers with my tax money. This is bull####t.

zman's homeroom teacher said that there was a charge of $3 and that included the gym locker....maybe because he is in 6th grade it's cheaper?

Not sure, I just know I had to give her $6 for the two different lockers. $3.00 for Science lab fee & $10.00 for Art fee. :shrug: I'm sure if she didn't have to pay for both the gym & regular locker she pocketed the $3 she didn't use for something at lunch so it's all good
