No. Friends of ours have an Australian Sheep Dog (at least they said it was a sheep dog...) and he knows what a beagle looks like.

I can see why he thinks it looks like an aussie mix because of the ticking...but to me it looks ALL beagle. Her head is classic beagle. Beagles are everywhere here on the eastern shore...more so than So. MD....so I see them all the time. My coworker breeds blue-tick beagles as well.

we had a pet possum when i was a kid. mom rescued it from somewhere...

My Gammie had pet possums and skunks and raccoons (outside) At one point she even had a rooster (Gamecock) living in the house.

I miss her.

a skunk? I bet that was weird.

We had a squirrel, a huge Cane toad named Bufus, and that possum (as far as weird animals). My parents also had a one eyed owl but I was just a babe at that time.

That is so sweet....
My husband and have since we have been married took in 2 dogs that were abused.
One has passed since then, she was a sweetheart. Part cocker spainel and part golden retriever, was abused and abandon.
The other is a german shepard...got him off of a truck driver out of Pa. Driver said if no one wanted him, he was going to take him out back of the shop and kill him. So we took him, had to give him a bath 3 times and he was so dehydrated and under fed. He is the biggest baby and so spoiled. Found out when the driver gave him to us that he was AKC registered, gave us all the paperwork. We even went as far as contacting the breeder to let her know what had happened. She took the driver off her list of customers, said every other year he had gotten a dog or two from her. Always wondered what happened to the others that he was supposted to have....

:yahoo: A forum member has just offered to take her...she has an appointment in the morning for a rabies shot and a heartworm check. If all goes well she'll have a home by the end of tomorrow. I will keep you all posted.

I think it's safe to say she was left with the trash... a worker said she had been there for a few days.
