What the heck is JPC?

Almost sounds like a radio version of JPC

Its the radio version of Survior-- but only one guy can vote you off the island.
To put it in Gilliganeese terms The Professor and MaryAnne have now also been fed to the sharks.
:howdy: I truly miss all my friends from that island and my machines too-- be nice to my babies guys [I know you both read this board] Remember, no liquids in the studios, just cause I can't see you!

NUH UH! I haven't ignored you... he just pushed all the right buttons. YOU of all people know what a hot spot local radio is for me.

Mo Ho in the morning and 98.3 need to go! They are NOT even in my channel sets. They out right suck! :burning:

Some of us like the Moj. He's fun to listen to, and other than their unfortunate tendency to play Red Hot Chili Peppers songs, 97.7 plays good music. Any station that does a daily triple set of Metallica has my endorsement.

I can't speak for 98.3, though. I'm not much into Adult Contemporary, or whatever the heck they play.

Noone rocks more than DC101..

I'd rather light myself on fire than listen to Eliot in the morning.

What an a-hole.

Although I do like 101.1 during the other 18 hours of the day.

Right, see I'm not in radio anymore and they actually make me work a LOT! I gotta find a job where I can combine the money I make now, with the level of crap I used to be able to get away with.

how's you?

Doing good. Not great money, but lots less stress. Paying the bills is all that matters. Now I have a job, not a career...

I haven't heard them do U2.

I can take or leave Green Day - they play "Welcome To Paradise", which is about the only Green Day song that I actually like. If they play other ones I haven't noticed.

Looking for other radio... 08-15-2007 09:51 AM You should get a pair for your bike. I always say that if the rider doesn't have any, the bike should.
 I'll admit I don't have any chrome plated acorn nuts, but what would I do with them on a chrome free bike?

Good Luck!

 I cannot listen to Mojo. The whining, predictable, boring DJ has got to go. His joke bits are THE worst. The attempted fake New York accent and his ability to repeat himself 4 times each sentence is quite a talent :sarcasm: He plays the same songs over and over... ad nauseum. He's a parody of himself.

I love MoJo! Some of the things he comes up with crack me up! He is the best thing to happen to SOMD radio in a LONG time.... Mojo you Mofo!

We LOVE Mojo - he is VERY good, but he also has to follow the boss's orders

Noone here has heard how really good a DJ Mojo is- he KNOWS his music-- :larry: because they have never heard him unfettered and equipped with the tools of the trade he needs to truly excel- in my personal opinon.
Mojo is also a wonderful person in real life with a gift of musical/DJ talent - a gift which is not allowed to fully bloom here due to no fault of his own.
Its sad and mirrors my experiance there. I am a very well known Professional Broadcast Engineer and my wife and I have won several industry awards for design of broadcast products used worldwide. I was not happy being told in detail how to do my job by someone who is not even an engineer. :smack:

No one said he wasn't a wonderful perosn IRL, but his skills as a radio DJ have made the station unlistenable between 5:30-10:00 a.m. I share an office and we all agreed on his lack of talent. If he is all you say he is, then I hope he is looking elsewhere for a better job and gets the he!! out of a bad situation.
