I along with 2 other patrons of this motorcycle shop in St Leonard are looking for others who have been a victim of this shops rip off tactics and bait and switch practices. Personally I drove a bike in and 9 weeks later had to have it towed out due to thier lack of knowledge. The end result is at least on my case I spent over 1000.00 in labor to have a battery, tire and stater installed on what normally would cost less then 200.00 then I saw my old battery in another bike. I went to the BBB they contacted the owner who didn't have enough gonads to respond himself so he had his loud mouth daughter do the deed. BBB contacted me to let me know that they had exhausted all methods in thier recovery and they would support me in the court if I wanted to take it that route. I hate to be a victim of ripoff, So, I know there are others whom have been taken by this wanna be mechanic and his staff. Please let me know ASAP. Thanks

Let me get this straight.......

You drove your bike to this shop to get a battery, starter and a tire installed....paid $1000.00 for this(when it was a $200.00 job) and then had to tow your bike out of there after 9 weeks

Yes sir,, and to top it off I asked where the mechanic was and was informed he was fired due to his lack of knowledge. So obviously I was F'd,,,the story goes on and on, but that is the short version. A neighbor of mine took his 2005 Night Train in to get new pipes put on, took it home, the next day the batterywas dead, "new bike" now, he went back to VTwinn they looked at it and told him he needed a new rectifier, obviously they shorted it out or switched it for another and to top it off he was charged for them to look at it. He had a warranty on the bike so took it back to HD in Mechanicsville.

Umm, thats yes Mam...

I though this was some malpraticing Pakistani

That said, incompetent motorcycle mechanics seem to be, unfortumatly, the rule rather than the exception. For $1000 you could have purchased all the tools, parts and instruction manuals to have done the job yourself in less than 9 weeks. One of the few places I'll allow to work on my bike is MotoVations in Charlotte Hall.

You should teach him how to change out his starter and install a new battery.

He'll figure that out the first time he meets you. :lmao:

Not so sure about that....he can't figure out why he drove his bike in a place and had to pay them $1000.00 and he had to have it towed out of there

I'm thinking I should really try to sell him a bridge or something :lmao:

How the hell do you destroy a rectifier while changing the pipes?

Who said anything about a starter??
LOL>.. I stand corrected, I am sorry I didn't know you were a girl... and yes, I know how to change a battery the Starter however requires the bottom of the motor to be dropped so that the pinnion gear doesnt drop into the engine. Of course now I dont have that bike anymore, I sold it to a poor unsuspecting guy from St. Marys. Yes I did tell him the issues with it.. And no, I dont like throwing my $$$$ away, my ex wife does that enough
.

He did. :lmao:
