That said, incompetent motorcycle mechanics seem to be, unfortumatly, the rule rather than the exception. For $1000 you could have purchased all the tools, parts and instruction manuals to have done the job yourself in less than 9 weeks. One of the few places I'll allow to work on my bike is MotoVations in Charlotte Hall.
