I really don't want to know what esprix thinks.
:smack: This thread ain't about hatin'. I'm serious ... and I'm curious to know (if they're willing to discuss it) how many guys on here got the deed done and why. Call it morbid curiosity.

A few of us have answered. Why not make it a survey? Some choices could be:

To avoid CS

Because it was safer for me than the wife

My DH had 3 daughters from his first marriage. He married me, got a boy, and got snipped.

My only question with guys getting snipped (who are single) why do they think that a condom is no longer necessary?

I would worry as much about an STD as I would pregnancy.

I still think they are thinking with that "little" head, instead of the big one.

cuz there are just tooooooo many reasons -- most of which I probably can't think of cuz I'm not a guy. but there are obvious ones, too. I figured 'let those who care to comment do so' vs. screw with a poll.

I hated using a condom when I was single, but usually I only did because I was worried about STDs. Most of the women I slept with were on some sort of BC, and some even asked why I didn't trust them. I never caught anything, and I am not responsible for any abortions. I guess I was lucky.

Isn't snippage reversible now?

According to my snipper, reversal was at least $10K, and not guaranteed. Cheaper and easier than tubes, but still pretty bad.

Since my snipping only cost me $30, plus a bag of frozen peas, I wouldn't do it if I thought I would ever want to reverse.

First bangbang wrap the rascal. If the relationship continues you can leave the wrapper off.
As far as thinking with the little head, when it gets all the blood flow, that's all we're left with.

In my case it has a lot to do with being older and more selective about who I sleep with. I get to know someone before venturing forward with the sexual thing. If a woman offers it up on the first date I run like crazy. Never had an STD. (knock on wood)

I got to watch the entire procedure of a snip snip and thought it was very interesting. What made me a bit squimish was the smell of burning flesh :barf: Plus for us it was more cost effective for J to have it done that to fork out $110 every three months for the pill I was on.

The only thing that hurts is the shot.

A long, cold steel needle sliding into your scrotum as you writhe in agony.

It was just a little prick......well three shots, one to each nerve cluster :lmao:
