I read that line, but can you tell me you never bangbanged,,,,ever? None of my business. But it happens.

If you are just bangbangbanging, then chances are you or her have multiple partners. There will be no long range plans and you won't know who that bebe's daddy is. You might bang and never see this woman again. What if that happens and she is pregnant?

Brother Tom has a point. Will you look at it in a law school, theoretical sense for one moment, please?.
The 'choice' movement had at its basis the right to equality meaning the man did not own her, that he could not tell her what to do with her body, that she and she alone could choose to birth or not.
Fair enough. If that, freedom, is the issue, why is the man obligated to support the child, outside of the moral? Why is he obligated to use HIS body for 18 years to earn the succor that sustains the wee one when he had no say in wether or not there would be a birth?
If he sacrificed all his rights at the moment of Shangri-la and she successfully fought to KEEP her rights every step of the way, pre, post and at the moment, do we not now have what we originally sought to eliminate, in-equality? Only now the shoe is on the other foot which is specifically of one sex thus a sexual discrimination as well?

Can I get an AMEN?

No amen brother.. he is obligated because he also had a choice to keep his sperm to himself and flush it down the toilet. We need to make men think about their responsibility in birth control.

No, it sounds more like a description of her than a comparision
Now since this is a public forum I am not going to lay my life out here. I have had to make some of these decisions and choices you are bringing up.
I will be happy to sit and discuss them face to face with anyone.

All mens fault?

Nope, just partial. It takes two. A woman can make sure she doesn't reproduce. Even if men had a pill I would think the woman would not trust that alone and take responsibility for herself.

I'll give you an AMEN :yay:

Ideally, man and woman become pregnant when they're ready to have children together. Next best is they become pregnant and go, "Oh well - guess we're starting a family sooner than we planned." WAY down on the list is getting pregnant by someone you barely know and wouldn't even be seen in public with, let alone marry.

But what are you going to do? I think people should be more responsible with their sexual practices - then we wouldn't have to worry about abortion and crap like that. I can't tell you the number of times I've said to a pregnant (or thought to be pregnant) girlfriend, "Weren't you using birth control?" and she replied, "The pill makes me sick and he wouldn't wear a rubber."

HOW FREAKIN' STUPID IS THAT?????

So I don't have a lot of sympathy for girls that get pregnant by some one-night stand and I don't think the guy should have to pay for that. I also don't feel sorry for some guy that impregnates his chickie and either gets stuck with the bill or gets his kid aborted.

You made you bed - now lie in it.

And it seems alot of them do. Many of them post here. We have a variety of baby-mommas who :bangbangbang: without protection and decided to go through with the pregnancy. Many of them will tell you daily how that baby (or babies) are the best thing that happened to them. Many of them will also be glad to tell you what scum their baby-daddy is and how worthless he is as a provider. We see it daily on this very board.

By the same token, we also have several baby-daddy here that are the primary custodian of the baby and they are deal with the same BS from their baby-momma.

Bottom line... you are responsible for who you choose to bed with, and you are responsible for protection. If both parties chose responsibly and act responsibly, then the odds of them having to deal with these issues drastically decreases.

Let me get this straight - I am paid more than an equally qualified woman. I receive better treatment in all aspects of life, merely because I am a man. And my wife lets me think I am in charge. I have also never knocked up a woman without our prior planning. I'd much rather have these benefits, than to have the right to force a woman to abort my bastard spawn!

The woman is the one that takes on the medical risks and expenses (it's her insurance/job/etc. affected your yours). The fetus is an extension of her, not the man... therefore, it is up to her.
Are you saying Boy is not an extension of me?
