Miss Blue is holding her own...

Miss Blue was feisty to the end, hissed and growled at the vet.
The tumor had grown to about the size of half a shelled walnut
since the exam last month where it had shrunk to the size of a dried lentil.

You did the right thing. I shed some tears for her today. I know how sad y’all are. :huggy::huggy::huggy::huggy::huggy:

"And you, my father, there on the sad height,
Curse, bless, me now with your fierce tears, I pray.
Do not go gentle into that good night.
Rage, rage against the dying of the light."

My heart breaks.
I was thinking of that poem, too.

A lot of members are thinking about you, and share your pain. I know that helps. Miss Bonnie Blue knows you loved her, and did the best for her. She has happily crossed the Rainbow Bridge. She is playing with all the other beloved kitties, now. :)

I had to take our male on 2/10. We knew the end was near when he stopped purring. This cat would literally purr even if you just looked at him. If watching him take his last breath wasn't hard enough, I had to tell our youngest that he was gone and that ripped my heart out even more. At least my husband and oldest saw he wasn't doing well and made their peace beforehand. Our youngest knew it wouldn't be long but hadn't said his goodbyes.

I'm sorry for your loss, Rarebreed.

Thank you. I picked up his ashes yesterday. The crematory misspelled his name so I had to contact them to see about getting a new name plate. :ohwell: His name was Comrade and they spelled it Commrade.
When we had to give Miss Cerridwen of fond memory the Final Kindness, the crematory labeled the urn with my name and the letter of condolence was sent to the Cerridwen Family. We laughed at her having one more little joke on us. She was a sweet, funny cat.

Crematory called and are sending a new name plate and certificate with his name spelled correctly.
