They are not usually at the radio station on the weekend. Hopefully you will hear something soon. One possibility is they could be doing a remote broadcast somewhere in the county and you could pay them a visit, I am sure their website would show that info if they were. OR leave a post or email with your contact info.

I think I'll have to wait for the station to open up on Monday. I went by there, and I've called but no one is around. I emailed the station manager in hopes maybe he'll check his email over the weekend

hi maureen!!! i just wanted to let you know about an organization that i came across out of baltimore that uses dogs to track other dogs! says they have a very good sucess rate! i have an email out to them just waiting for a response! the email address is dogsfindingdogs@gmail.com! give it a try!!!!!!! i think im going to! it says all they charge is a small fee for traveling! good luck and let me know girl!!!!!

The lady that left the message ...yeah she misunderstood the radio station announcement. I had asked WKIK & it's affiliates to keep running the PSA about Hemi. Well this listener thought they were saying Hemi had been found, when yet they were still just advertising that he was missing.
So...it was a major false alarm. We also went to check out the Golden Beach sighting again since we got another call Saturday morning. Turns out, there's a GSD/mix that lives in one of the houses over there deep in the woods that is mostly black, with tan. Unfortunately, I don't think we'll be getting Hemi back ;(

Did them come out and look for Pepper? I had Janell & Lee (dog) come out and look for Hemi when he first went missing--which lead us to a construction site where the scent ended....leaving me to think someone has "adopted" Hemi
They do great work, though!!

I would go back to the construction site and HAND EACH PERSON a flyer..!!! talk to each one and tell them what Hemi is for!!

oh girl i am so sorry! i havent had them down yet i am still waiting for them to get back to me! i am thinking that with as long as pepper has been gone and with all the snow and rain weve had, im sure its gonna be a long shot! people keep saying they see a dog that looks like it may be her in a certain area so i thought maybe they could search around there? i agree that maybe you should go to the construction site yourself and personally talk to all of the workers!!!!! the truly sad thing to me is that if someone has taken our babies in we have plastered our info, pics and the fact that they are missing and very much missed everywhere! if they have seen/heard all of this and still dont return them, that is what i find truly disturbing!!!! let me know if there is anything that i can do to help! anything at all!!!!!!!! do u have a facebook??

I lost a doggie a number of years ago, did the same with the flyers, door to door, EVERYTHING I could think of... eventually after 4 weeks I gave up :-(. A few weeks later, I happened to be walking in town by a random house... and my DOG WAS IN THE WINDOW BARKING AT ME....TAIL WAGGIN...ETC !! Someone had "adopted" him too.... betcher AZZ I was banging on that door w/ my flyer and demanding my dog back immediatly !!!!!!!!!!! LONG STORY SHORT...DON'T GIVE UP !!

I would also go door to door!!! and he does have a chip and NO VET WILL REMOVE CHIPS... now they may have him chipped again... so the funny thing will be when you scan him... he will come up with two numbers!!!but you have records of dates to show you had him first!!

Yes, and I have reported him missing/stolen with HomeAgain, so his info cannot be changed under any circumstances!!

I'm heartbroken, but all I can hope for his that if someone adopted him, he has adopted them too, you know? I hope he's happy, healthy, warm and well fed and comfortable. I'm sure it wouldn't be a hard transition for him since he's so young. I just keep thinking: what if he got hit by a car and left on the side of the road? I could imagine Zeus or Morgan being in someones window doing that, then I give the 'Watch' command... I would simply ask the people inside the house 'I will call the dog out if you let me have them back'
Our male (Zeus) disappeared for about 3 hours one day, scared the ever living crap out of me. We were so happy when we found him - was on a farm about 400 yards away on the other side of the wood line, I used my female to track him.
