You don't have to shove money up people's a$$es there though...:shrug:elaine said:Me either.
I'm mocking you for thinking that you are special because you know what Foie Gras is and have to tell everyone you know that.pvineswinger said:it's affordable for special occasions- not everynight. Please read the posts before you respond.
I can't say that I've ever eated at Popeye's- for Cajun, try New Orleans.

if pate is made of liver, and foie gras is fat liver- why is the foie gras NOT pate?elaine said:For those who are clueless, I was indicating that Foie Gras is not pate', not that Foie Gras was anything other than duck liver.
I very much enjoyed the service and the meal I had last week.fddog said:those prices don't look to bad for fine dineing
ACtually I was passing on a hint NOT to order it. I DIDN'T know what it was when I ordered it- it was just a warning. And I don't think I'm special for knowing it now. Sorry for expressing an opinion.Bogart said:I'm mocking you for thinking that you are special because you know what Foie Gras is and have to tell everyone you know that.

And again, I said affordable for special occasions, but not for every night...try to keep up.Bogart said:Also mocking you for saying that it is affordable then saying it is not affordable in the next sentence.

yes,it is a reason, how can I expect good tips if I don't tip well myself? What goes around comes around!morganj614 said:That's not a reason to tip good. I'm a good driver but not on the race track racing cars
elaine said:You know, this brought to mind the day I had lunch at the little tea place in L-town. Ever see the prices on their menu? Getting a waitress to come to your table is like pulling teeth, then while they're listening to you their eyes glaze over.

I'm aware of what you said. It is affordable. It is not affordable. I am special because I think I know what Foie Gras means. It is probably the nicest restaurant St Mary's county has right now- and it is affordable. I know very few people who could afford to eat there every night- but it's great for special occasions (and food snobs.)
But the Tasting of Foie Gras is YUCK!!!! (that's liver pate, by the way!)
I'll show you when you take me there for my birthday.Mrs. Jones said:Where is the Tides? Somewhere between the park and leonardtown?
