In this case, though, the child was in front of her. Also, ppl just need to be REALLY careful. Before backing out of a b-day party, etc...I always double check that all kids are in clear view, and usually have someone spot me b/c I'm nervous about that sort of thing. Even when backing out of my own driveway when I'm leaving w/out the kids, I always make sure I know 100% where they are - whether it be in the house, or standing in the door watching me, or whatever.

This is what my DH and I were talking about a few weeks ago. There is this lady named Mary, we'll call her "crazy Mary," since everyone else does. She ran over and killed her daughter. It was a terrible accident, and she never recovered from it. Her boys went to school with my husband and I, and we were all very good friends. It was just something that neither my husband or I ever forgot. :ohwell:

For real. That's my biggie - the cats like to nap under the car so I always do a look-shoo before I jump behind the wheel.

Choate-Zucca said a blind spot on the SUV made it impossible to see Cade running to greet her. The front tire had pinned the child's head and arm.

Wouldn't she have heard a "thud" when the vehicle hit the kid? If his head and arm were pinned she kept going about 2 feet AFTER the thud....dumbarse!! Anyone check to see if she had Gerber Life on these kids? Sick biatch! And really...wouldn't the dad know if the kid ran out the door??? :loser: parents

I think the parents in this case would be better to "warn the world the dangers of complete morons having kids."

...had two years olds. It's a damn sight harder to catch one than you'd think.

Always running out of driveway, darting into the garage...
