If I didn't know the parents I wouldn't say anything at all. I would feel that it was none of my business and that they would not respect my interference. However if the parents were friends of mine, I would find a way to hint and have them discover this for themselves. Put the question in their mine and let them take it from there.

The most important thing I would be thinking is that I would not break my daughters confidence and I would praise her greatly for sharing this information with me. You know you have done something right when your daughter can share this kind of thing with you. Well done.

If it were my daughter, I would not want someone to tell me right out. I would probably get defensive and think they were meddling. If I hadn't noticed it and caught on to the signs than I probably wouldn't believe it. It would be better like I said before if they just happened to mention the fact that the girls are getting to that age and use the conversation to put the thought in my head, "hmmmm, is my daughter sexually active." Maybe like throwing out some statstistics(sp) or the story of another girl. I'm sure you could come up with one without even making it up.
