My electric bill just doubled

Thank you. The link is pretty incomprehensible to me, but I don't think the price tag attached to it is low enough to take a chance on it anyway.

It could possibly provide extra current to start motors in the well pump, refrigerator, A/C etc. but the saving won't be much. I realize that lawyers write these patents but the fuzzy wording spells SCAM.

Great idea, Pete, but when I redesigned my kitchen I purposely did not install a dishwasher because I think they are a waste of energy and resources. I do something similar though... I wrap M's breakfast in foil and place it on the manifold. It's hot by the time we get to daycare which saves me time and electricity...:yay:

You should send that in to Hints From Heloise. :killingme

We're gone 8-9 hours of the day, and our electric bill is still $150 per month. Then again, we do loads and loads of laundry a week, and a lot of lights are on in the house all night. Two adults and two girls - we're always in different rooms.

I wish mine was $150. Until this past year we never had a bill over about $140 even during the hot summer months, now I am lucky if it is under $340.

Mine was only $42.46 last month and said I only used 295 kWh of power. Somehow, I think I'm going to get screwed next month. :ohwell:
