:yay: All I see is pitbull, dog could have been used instead. IMO
Some people refer to dogs by their breed. I tell people about how a pitbull puppy rushed my puppy at the park and scared him (b/c my puppy is a fraidycat, not b/c the other puppy was too agressive or mean). Had it been a lab or a golden, I would've said so.

What's wrong with her calling it a pit bull? Would you have a problem with it if she had called it a doberman or jack russell?

Right.

If it was another breed, just maybe it wouldn't have been a big deal? IMO
I beg to differ. If a cocker spaniel had eaten her cat, she'd probably be just as upset.

That's your opinion, as I am stating mine, what's the problem.

I know, but it always seems to be pitbulls, if it wasn't would it have been posted. I'm not trying to sound mean or harsh.

Because unfortunately pitbulls have their issues, some caused by owner, some by breeding. Sadly, not all of them are nice dogs.

It wouldn't make a difference if it was another cat that killed her cat. Her point is that she lost a beloved pet and she just wants the other party to at least feel some remorse since he/his dog were in the wrong.

She doesn't get it.

The problem is that you seem to be attempting to use her sadness to start a "Why does everyone hate pit bulls?" thread. Like Otter said, this is neither the time nor the place. Bump an old thread, lord knows the issue has been discussed ad nauseam.

You're the one making an issue out of it being a pit bull.
I didn't start the thread. And I also gave her karma, apologized if I came off hard.

I recall posting sorry about your cat and also gave them karma.
