Thanks for the info., but it didn't help. :ohwell: I tried to tell him that we are buying the bike and he can ride on the back if he likes, but he didn't like that idea... :frown: I cannot imagine why...

Try a Sceaming Eagle upgrade to the engine, might get the HP up close to my Suzuki.

I love it!

I've been trying to convince the man that we need a Honda Gold Wing or a Harley Ultra Classic Electra Glide, but he said they are too big/heavy. :frown:

We had a fully dressed Glide when we were in Italy, talk about a show stopper! Hubby traded it for a 100th Anniverserary RoadKing. It was big and heavy, and could be a monster at times. But I understand that they've been refined a lot bit since the mid 90's.

I'm 5'6" and considerably heavier than you mentioned, and the Hugger handles it just fine. My son who is 6'1" / 225+ lbs...had leg room issues, Needed more. But i'm fine.

I wonder is BSGal could dump a trike? If anyone could....
Ya know, I'm not thinking you all are funny anymore. I have a big-girl bike now and I can kind-OF ride it. 1bdz is gonna kick your butts for making fun of me.

Absolutely gorgeous. How much did that cost ya? I'm thinking.....I'm learning the new bike, but that would be so much easier for me.

It was a tad over $5,000 installed. Not at all a bad price. It handles fine for me. Took Hubby a bit to get used to, as it turns differently than a regular bike. But he really liked it. (A great weight off my mind.)

I would be an extra grand or 2 if you got the custom paint. we just went with the standard black, cause it works so well with mine. After they put everything together, you can take it off, it takes about 15 minutes, and 2 people. But it is do-able to put it on and off.

I'm really liking that. I love my new bike, but it's really heavy on the front end. We rode for about an hour the other day, just through the neighborhood and I had to practice turns in the school parking lot. By the time I got it back home (after the friggin battery died and hubby rode it down a hill to get it started), I was beginning to feel a little bit comfortable on it. I'll get used to it. It's just big. Gotta take the baby bike out tomorrow, just to keep it running. I really, really love the new big bike. I went to the Harley dealer and sat on a few today and figured out that I like mine more.

This is a good thing! I haven't ridden a real bike since class 2 years ago. And I remembered it very easily. I have a lot to learn on this on...get the feel for the sweet spot, etc. But without the fear of falling, it was no problem. I was doing figure eights, and all kinds of stuff.

The tight turns have to be real slow, and you Don't roll On-into a turn, you roll off, down shift. You also straight arm the turns, don't lean, so it's different. But I find it a lot easier. Cause I don't have to worry about the fall. :flowers:

Yes I took a VERY bad spill on the other one as I was learning. Caused a lot of damage to the bike, and a lot to me. But it did piss me off enough to go take the class and get the lics that way. :lmao:
