Does my butt look big?
I have never had anything so small and frankly, I was afraid I would do something wrong.

Kittens that size are hard to raise by hand..even by mother some die and you do not know why...Even with Ink it might die and not by anything Ink did or did not do..Kittens that age are just tough...You did good I dont want you to feel I was trying to be hard on you...just lots of hard things for a little kitten to over come..

Ink that kitten going to be pointed?? Looks like some flame coloring on the ears? Does he have that plush coat as the pic shows? Whats up with that? Is his tail normal looked odd in a couple of her pics..

In all my years, Paso, I've only lost two. I generally never have any problems.

What a cutie.I rescued a kitten about 8 yrs. ago. Eyes not opened and only alittle bit of fur. Guess mama thought it to be sick. Fed it evaporated milk every few hours, kept him warm. And day by day him got stronger. Started adding small amounts of baby to cereal to his milk, until he got teeth and could eat on his own.At that time I had a female dog that loved kittens and she would clean its behind and roll it around to stimulate it . I still have this cat...Hes been very healthy. So theres a good chance this one will make also. The main thing is , it has been given a chance. It"s nice to hear that all of you care so much . Good luck!!

You want to see it?
I will drive it over so you can look at it...
His coat is very soft...tail has a bit of darker hairs in it...
I will put up more photos tonight..
Hard to get good images of a white kitten.

Ever think something happened to mom?
Or someone dumped it?
No fleas, no ticks...
Hungry orphans do crawl out to find food....

All of the 6 squirrels I picked up tonight had fleas and ticks..even the 2 tiny pinkies..had ticks..between the toes no less...
But Wally is CLEAN..I did see a section of tapeworm in first stool....but no fleas on him. None!!!

Almost dinner time..got squirrels and birds to feed....
Be back later with photos.:howdy:

Ok..all is well.. And Vria..it is Inkpen..

Kitten is 6 7/8 ounces as of yesterday. that makes him about 9-10 days old.
Small abcess on right shoulder..only wound I could find..and I looked!
Wound cleaned and flushed and treated.
Kitten on antiboitics.
He is now sleeping in heated container with a stuffed animal to snuggle with.
doing Ok with the bottle...has pooped 2 x..solid, well formed.

Think momma tossed him out due to leg.

Paso..He has a very good chance of recovery!!

Here are 2 photos:
First one shows the bowed left leg.

Inkpen,

What a wonderful and amazing thing you did. When I first started reading this thread my heart went out to the OP and kitten, then when I got to the thread saying the kitten might not make it....... I almost stopped because I just did not want the next thread to confirm it.

I am so glad the kitten is doing well and hope for a full and speedy recovery.

Inkpen,

If you are serious I would love to adopt. I have one small cat now and plenty of room. Would give the little guy a great home to live in.

Thank you. I am just so glad it worked out. I didnt realize that he could have been so bad off. Inkpen totally saved him :yahoo:by fostering him, I seriously was stupid to what needed to be done.

Hey, you did what you could. Seriously. Do not be so hard on yourself....hang in there, if it were not for you the kitten would not have made it this far AND it was smart thinking on your part to come in here so inkpen would be able to help out. Both of you are great
