I believe an auto parts store. Wanna bet it will be completed before work starts again on the other eyesore by Brusters.
I'm thinking that's abandoned - just like the townhomes that were going to go up towards Tractor Supply. No signs on those properties.

Noticed a slab was set up next to One Eyed Jacks. Not sure what that is - I already think they have way too little parking and they're pouring a slab right where expanded parking would go.

Also, they've finally cleared out all of those decayed buildings across from First Colony.

If it is abandoned, it should be back in the previous shape it was. A field.

I hadn't noticed One Eyed Jacks, I've only been in there once.

I did notice the fencing up and the buildings gone. What's going there? A car dealership?

Super 8 hotel still has fencing up around it, too.

Not possible. I'm amazed at the lack of knowledge some clowns expose when they assume county officials have "powahs" that they simply don't have. Clowns..all of you..obviously never dealt with difficult P&Z issues. I have...on more than one occassion.
Oh... well then, by all means please astound us with your knowledge of the intricacy of planning and zoning with respects to Home Depot being established in Southern Maryland. Dare to educate us "clowns" that have not the grand and great knowledge you possess on the subject.
Waiting...........

Ok Clown here it is! Home Depot has looked at a couple of sites in St Marys the one I am familiar with was behind the Chipotle's and Aldi's on rt 235. Apparently one of the hang ups was the concrete and asphalt plant at the front of the property HD didn't want an industrial plant on the way to the store and then decided not to build at that site.

I have no idea what HD is planning now, I am telling you what WAS going on before the plant was moved and the property was developed. Is that too much for your feeble mind to comprehend?

Got it! Thank you for offering out of date information about issues that are of no consequence now and haven't been a factor in many years. An excellent addition to the conversation. :yay:
Maybe now you can enlighten us as to why there are no more penny candy stores or Radio Shacks. That should add quite a bit to the topic at-hand. :coffee:
