Knowing this definately changes everything, so all the school aged kids that live in base housing go to school off base?

I meant in comparison to the rest of the county. And we've called it LPCity for over 40 years - even when it was just the Safeway, Ben Franklin, and 20 bars. :lmao:
I've done the real cities. Never would I live in one. Never.

I live in japan so I'm used to alot of people. I just don't want to live in the ghetto...

No. All of the kids that live on base are bussed to schools off base.

Call JOBIN realty at 301 373 6257 and tell them you want to see the new listing on ASHER RD in MECHANICSVILLE that just went on the market for 270,000. It is a GREAT house in a GREAT neighbourhood with GREAT schools.

Thanks for the tip. Do you have any info on the house? IE size, garage, basement, number of bedrooms/bathrooms? I'm still in Japan so it would be expensive to call the realtor from here and may not be worth it if its not what we're looking for.

I live in Park Hall and love it. We're not too far off of Gate 3. It's quiet! Park Hall is the Elementary School we are zoned for. Spring Ridge is the Middle School. Great Mills is the High School. Park Hall and Spring Ridge are okay. But, Great Mills has it's issues.

However, my kids will be going to private school (St. Michael's unless we move).

It takes 30-40 minutes. Lot's of traffic and traffic lights.

Try going from Park Hall to Mechanicsville (almost Charlotte Hall) everyday! :ohwell:
